  14.        1        ea    Egg                                               
  15.        1        cup   Hickory nuts                                      
  16.                       Sponge - enough for 1 loaf                        
  17.                       Butter - piece size of a walnut

  19.     DIRECTIONS  ------------------------------------------------------------

  21.         Enough sponge for a loaf of bread. Work into this a piece of      
  22.     butter size of a walnut. Mix well. Place in greased bread loaf pan,   
  23.     let rise until double in bulk and bake.                               
  24.                                                                           
  25.     Note: Assume moderate oven 350 - 400 F. Time ? probably 40 - 50       
  26.     minutes.
