  14.        2        tsp   Baking powder                                     
  15.        1/4      tsp   Baking soda                                       
  16.        3/4      tsp   Salt                                              
  17.        1/3      cup   Sugar                                             
  18.        1        cup   Raisins                                           
  19.        2        cup   Cereal flakes                                     
  20.        1        ea    Egg                                               
  21.        1 1/2    cup   Buttermilk                                        
  22.        4        Tbsp  Shortening - melted

  24.     DIRECTIONS  ------------------------------------------------------------

  26.     Dredge raisins in small amount of flour, sift dry ingredients together
  27.     and add raisins and cereal. Beat eggs slightly, add milk and melted   
  28.     shortening, blend well with first mixture but do not overmix. Bake in 
  29.     greased loaf pan 350 F. about 1 hour.
