  11.     INGREDIENTS ------------------------------------------------------------

  13.        4        cup   Cake flour - sifted                               
  14.        2        tsp   Baking powder                                     
  15.        1/2      tsp   Salt                                              
  16.        1/2      cup   Shortening                                        
  17.        4        Tbsp  Sugar                                             
  18.        1        ea    Egg - beaten                                      
  19.        1        cup   Milk

  21.     DIRECTIONS  ------------------------------------------------------------

  23.     Sift flour once, measure, add baking powder, salt, and sift again.    
  24.     Cream shortening, add sugar, cream together thoroughly. Combine egg   
  25.     and milk. Add flour to creamed butter and sugar, alternately with milk
  26.     mixture, small amount at a time, beating after each addition until    
  27.     smooth. Bake in greased muffin pans, or baking sheet, in hot oven 425 
  28.     F. 25 minutes, or until done.
