  11.     INGREDIENTS ------------------------------------------------------------

  13.        2        ea    Orange peels                                      
  14.        1 1/2    cup   Water                                             
  15.        1        cup   Sugar                                             
  16.        1        ea    Egg - well beaten                                 
  17.        1        cup   Milk                                              
  18.        3        cup   Flour                                             
  19.        3        tsp   Baking powder

  21.     DIRECTIONS  ------------------------------------------------------------

  23.     Boil orange peel in salt water, 10 minutes. Drain and cut fine. Add   
  24.     water, sugar and cook until thick and tender. Add egg, milk, flour and
  25.     baking powder. Bake in moderate oven 3/4 hour. (Can use sour milk with
  26.     1/2 t. baking soda and 1 t. baking powder).

  28.     NOTE: Moderate oven is 350 - 400 F.
