  12. <P>This list is taken directly from the Imperial College archive, and has
  13. not been checked for accuracy.  Some of the headings are far from
  14. descriptive, but most should give an idea of what is contained within. 
  15. All the files are gzipped; once gunzipped they contain the original news
  16. article, which is likely to have a uuencoded file in it. Finally, the
  17. uuencoded file may also need to be unzipped (most likely using
  18. pkunzip)... </P>
  19.  
  20. <P>PC users will find that <A HREF =
  21. "http://www.winzip.com/winzip/">WinZip</A> 
  22. (which works for all flavours of Windows) will extract the uuencoded
  23. file from the gzipped archive.  <A HREF = "http://snappy.globalone.net/#Software">WinCode</A> is a
  24. Windows program for uuencoding and uudecoding.  Once decoded, you should
  25. be left with a usable file (which may be pkzipped - WinZip can deal with
  26. this too).</P>

  28. <P>Most of these programs will find their way onto the <A HREF =
  29. "http://src.doc.ic.ac.uk/packages/psion/icdoc/">Psion archive</A> at
  30. Imperial College (if they haven't already), and you might find it easier
  31. to check there before going through the hoops necessary to extract them
  32. from these links.</P>
