  9. This is an area for sysops in Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties to

  11. help each other, chat, discuss issues or just have a good time.

  15. The rules are simple.

  19. 1 - ALL past and present Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Fidonet sysops may

  21. join in this echo.  Visiting Fidonet sysops temporarily physically residing

  23. in Dade, Broward, or Palm Beach Counties are also welcome.... that's it
  24.  
  25. though.

  29. 2 - Topics for consideration are anything that you guys want to talk
  30.  
  31. about. However, if you get too technical or carry a topic of interest to
  32.  
  33. only two of you and not all of us for too long, you may be asked to take
  34.  
  35. it to netmail.  Notices of Files Received are especially welcome.

  53. 6 - Messages from the moderator concerning enforcement of the rules

  55. are not considered offtopic, however, neither are they topics for
  56.  
  57. general discussion by anyone other than the moderator and the person
  58.  
  59. being addressed.

  63. 7 - In the event of the moderator's "disappearance" from the echo for a
  64.  
  65. period of more than one month or inability to perform the functions of a
  66.  
  67. moderator, and no succeeding moderator has been appointed, an election will
  68.  
  69. be held in the echo for a new moderator.  Such election shall be
  70.  
  71. accomplished by the simplest means possible.  The ZEC may assign a
  72.  
  73. temporary moderator to handle the election and/or interim during election.
  74.  
  75. Nominations shall be made with 20 days of announcement by the ZEC.
  76.  
  77. Election shall be by a "simple" majority of the sysops of the systems
  78.  
  79. connected to this conference within 20 days after annoucement of the
  80.  
  81. nominees.  A succeeding moderator may change this or any other rules and is
  82.  
  83. not bound by the preceding moderator's rules.  You're all sysops here and I
  84.  
  85. expect you should know by now how to behave in an echo.
