  6. Echo Topic, Rules and Policies:

  8.  1 - This echo is for users, buyers, sellers and all those concerned
  9.      with any Supra/DiamondMM modem, their operation, configuration
  10.      & setups, repair and upgrades.  Users of other makes (ie Zooms,
  11.      USRs, etc) are welcome provided that their postings refer to
  12.      connection and interfacing with Supra or DiamondMM modems.
  13.      Representatives from Supra frequent this echo.  English is the
  14.      official language of the echo.

  16.  2 - Do not be annoying and do not be easily annoyed (no FLAMES).

  18.  3 - Aliases are not allowed.  Please post using your real name.  If you
  19.      aren't sure, check your birth certificate.  The only exception to
  20.      this rule are the Supra Technical Support accounts.

  22.  4 - Avoid creating unneeded traffic.  Here's a list of basic "No-no's":

  24.   No: BBS ads, 'test' messages, "where are you from" chains, multiple
  25.       tearlines, replies to off-topic messages, encrypted messages, PGP
  26.       sigs, multiline sigs or taglines, playing moderator (unless you -are-
  27.       the moderator), additional headers/footers in messages, hi-ascii/ascii
  28.       or ANSI "artwork" (we really -don't- care to see it), uuencoded files,
  29.       BBS "color codes" or over-quoting in your replies.

  31.       If a program (reader, tagline mgr, etc.) is adding a lot of extra
  32.       junk to messages, please DON'T use it here.  (The moderator will
  33.       decide what's "extra junk", and let you know.)

  35.       "Internet-style" (large) signatures are -greatly- unwelcome, as well
  36.       as listing every email account or FTN-type address you have.
  37.       Leave it out, please.  Signatures should be no more than one -short-
  38.       line please.

  40.  5 - Common courtesy applies at -all- times.  If you want to argue with,
  41.      or complain to someone, do it in netmail or email.
  42.  
  43.  6 - This echo may not be gated (in or out) to any other FTN-style network,
  44.      or the internet, without without prior permission of the moderator.
  45.      Authorized gates will be published in the ELIST*.* listing for this
  46.      echo.
