  22. The SUPRA Echo

  25. This Echo is for users, buyers, sellers and all those concerned with
  26. any Supra/Diamondmm modem, their operation, configuration & setups,
  27. repair and upgrades.  Users of other makes (ie Zooms, USRs, etc) are
  28. welcome provided that their postings refer to connection and
  29. interfacing with Supra/Diamondmm modems.  Messages other than the
  30. foregoing are off-topic with the exception of messages posted from
  31. the Moderator.

  33. The language of this echo is English.

  35. The Rules
  36.  
  37. *1* No swearing or Flaming.  Be helpful at all times (if possible)
  38.     Use of foul or abusive language in ANY message could result in
  39.     immediate withdrawal of access to this echo.
  40.  
  41. *2* Non-commercial adverts (including BBS adverts) are allowed, but
  42.     only ONCE in any 8 week period.  Commercial adverts are NOT
  43.     ALLOWED unless you gain premission from the Moderator first.
  44.     Commercial advertising in any tagline is not allowed.
  45.  
  46. *3* Graphical characters (ie ASCII >128) and control characters (ie
  47.     ASCII <32) are NOT allowed.  The only exceptions are the use of
  48.     the Pound Sterling character (=9C) (ASC 156) and any posting from
  49.     the Moderator or ALLFIX File Processor. Though the color codes
  50.     that arre crated by GoldEd and the newversion of TerMail and the
  51.     like are allowed.

  53. *4* Please do NOT use this echo for Private/Test messages. Encrypted
  54.     messages are not allowed and may cause the sender to lose his
  55.     access.

  57. *5* If you think someone has broken the Echo Rules, do NOT post any
  58.     public message about it!  I am the Moderator, and this is MY job,
  59.     not yours.  I reserve the right to take action either publicly or
  60.     privately (or both). Please do not comment in the SUPRA echo on
  61.     moderation messages but if you must comment, please use NETMAIL.

  63. *6* Think before you (over)quote. Please avoid quoting Seen-By's,
  64.     Paths, and other kludges unless refering to a specific message
  65.     etc.

  67. *7* Real names must be used either in the message header (preferred)
  68.     or in the signature. Try & keep your signature line(s) to a
  69.     SENSIBLE length.

  71.     By definition a SENSIBLE length is a TOTAL of 80 characters over 3
  72.     or so lines.

  74. *8* The rules are subject to change at any time and may be posted in
  75.     the echo at any time on request.  The Moderator's word is the
  76.     final authority in matters regarding this echo.
