  13. 1)  Profanity/lewd/gutter language is strictly prohibited.  Personal, racial,
  14. stereotypical and cultural insults are strictly prohibited.

  16. 2)  Cross-Posting of Netmail is strickly forbidden.

  18. 3)  Do not be excessively annoying. Do not be easily annoyed.

  20. 'Plain text' can be very difficult for human communications.  There are no
  21. extra signals of intent and meaning such as facial expressions, tone of voice
  22. and body language.  Make free use of :-) and [G] when having fun. :)

  24. Write messages in a friendly manner.  You will come across as less annoying
  25. when discussing controversial topics.  If someone 'perceives' you as annoying
  26. (and you didn't intend to be) reread your msgs and try to find out why you came
  27. across that way.
