  8.                         RULES FOR FIDO BBS_ADS
  9.   =================================================================

  11.  * The purpose of this echo is to advertise your Bulletin Board System,
  12.    or to find a one.
  13.  
  14.  * The only topics of this echo are BBS ads, and requests to find a BBS
  15.    close to you. Advertisements for goods or services which are not
  16.    directly related to Bulletin Board Systems are off-topic.
  17.  
  18.  * ANSI and high ASCII characters are permitted, however they are to be
  19.    restricted to the message body only.
  20.  
  21.  * Post each ad only twice a week. You may post multiple ads provided that
  22.    they are each distinctly different.
  23.  
  24.  * Real names must appear in the header of the message, OR in a signature
  25.    at the bottom of the message. A Fidonet node number must appear in the
  26.    origin line.
  27.  
  28.  * Do not reply to off-topic messages. That just compounds the problem.
  29.    Leave the moderating to the moderators.
  30.  
  31.  * Chatting belongs in other echos. If you want to discuss something with
  32.    another person, you may post a message directing the other party to a
  33.    more appropriate echo, or to netmail/e-mail.

  35.  * Profanity and obscenity are not permitted.

  37.  * Discussion, advertisement, or solicitation of any unlawful or criminal
  38.    activity will result in an immediate feed cut, starting at the lowest
  39.    level.

  41.  * If you need to contact the moderators, do so via private netmail. A
  42.    request for the rules in the echo will always be honored.

  44.  * It is YOUR responsiblity to be aware of the rules and ADHERE to them.

  46.  * If you are NOT the sysop of the BBS that you post from, you could
  47.    cost the sysop his/her feed if you break the rules.
