  6.     The TENDRILS begin to COALESCE at a point a few inches 
  7.     away from their respective bodies, then LANCE away, 
  8.     forming COLUMNS of energy that SMASH into each other at 
  9.     a point mid-way between the combatants.

  11. 48   SISKO 
  12.  
  13.     LIGHT plays on his features as he reacts to this sight. 
  14.     He squints against the WINDS being whipped up by the 
  15.     battle taking place in front of him.
  16.  
  17. 49   KIRA AND JAKE (OPTICAL)
  18.  
  19.     A MASS OF ROILING ENERGY has formed where the two 
  20.     columns of energy meet. From the combatants' straining 
  21.     faces we can see that they're engaged in some colossal 
  22.     battle of metaphysical wills -- the energy mass shifts 
  23.     slightly toward Kira, but with an intense effort, she 
  24.     shifts it back toward Jake.

  28.     looks on in horror, fearing for his son's life. Around 
  29.     him, LIGHTS EXPLODE and SPARK.

  31. 51   KIRA AND JAKE (OPTICAL)

  33.     increase the pressure, sending additional PULSES of 
  34.     energy at each other. When the pulses collide in the 
  35.     middle, the PLASMA BALL between them EXPANDS and kicks 
  36.     off energy FLARES that slam into surrounding parts of 
  37.     the station, showering SPARKS and causing the ground to 
  38.     SHAKE.

  42.     her features strained, but her eyes confident.

  44. 53   JAKE

  46.     as his face begins to tremble with effort.

  48. 54   KIRA AND JAKE (OPTICAL)

  50.     More FLARES split off from the mass of roiling energy 
  51.     between them, SLAMMING into surrounding parts of the 
  52.     station, showering SPARKS and SHAKING the ground.
