  7.             I was so afraid that the others 
  8.             would see me and think I was 
  9.             nervous, that I kept biting my 
  10.             fingers to keep the blood flowing.
  11.                 (beat)
  12.             We must've been out there for 
  13.             three, four hours before the 
  14.             skimmer appeared and set down 
  15.             right where Furel said it would. 
  16.             And when the hatch opened and that
  17.             first Cardassian stepped out, I 
  18.             just started firing. And I didn't 
  19.             stop until I'd discharged the 
  20.             entire power cell.
  21.                 (beat)
  22.             When it was over, I was so 
  23.             relieved that I didn't let anyone 
  24.             down that I was almost giddy. 
  25.             Furel kept telling me to stop 
  26.             grinning, that it made me look 
  27.             even younger, but I couldn't help 
  28.             it. I was one of them -- I was in 
  29.             the Resistance.

  32.             some metal from that skimmer...

  34.     A quiet beat as Kira squeezes the earring in her hand 
  35.     and fights back the grief.

  38.             How were they killed?

  41.             Someone attached a small hunter
  42.             probe to the hull of a Talavian 
  43.             freighter. When the ship docked 
  44.             at the station, the probe detached 
  45.             itself and then began a visual 
  46.             scan of every room in the Habitat 
  47.             Ring.
  48.                 (beat)
  49.             Once the probe found its assigned 
  50.             targets, it attached itself to the 
  51.             window, and exploded.
