  10.     Odo stand beside him. Sisko puts an understanding hand 
  11.     on O'Brien's shoulder.

  13.                     ODO 
  14.             You didn't see anyone near her 
  15.             before she fell?
  16.  
  17.     O'Brien shakes his head.
  18.  
  19.                     O'BRIEN 
  20.             Nobody. But I was passing under 
  21.             the walkway and my back was to 
  22.             her.

  24.                     SISKO
  25.                 (curious, not 
  26.                 accusatory) 
  27.             What were you doing on the 
  28.             Promenade?
  29.  
  30.     The question catches O'Brien off guard.
  31.  
  32.                     O'BRIEN

  36.                 (jumping in) 
  37.             Weren't you supposed to be working 
  38.             on some optronic circuitry on 
  39.             Level Five?

  41.     O'Brien hesitates a moment before answering. This is 
  42.     dangerous ground -- up to now he hasn't out-and-out 
  43.     lied to anyone. Let alone the captain.

  45.                     O'BRIEN 
  46.             I was going to the Replimat... for 
  47.             lunch.

  49.     O'Brien is saved from further questioning when Bashir 
  50.     EMERGES from surgery. O'Brien springs to his feet.

  52.                     BASHIR 
  53.             Keiko's going to be all right. 
  54.             She's lucky she landed the way she 
  55.             did. It distributed the impact. 
  56.             A fall from that height could 
  57.             easily have killed her, or left 
  58.             her paralyzed.
