  8.             scream as the Blight burns through

  11.     This brings appreciative laughs from the gathering 
  12.     crowd.

  14.                     BASHIR
  15.             I have medicines that dull pain; 
  16.             I have equipment unlike anything 
  17.             on your world.
  18.  
  19.     He surveys the crowd, spots a young boy with his arm in 
  20.     a sling.
  21.  
  22.                     BASHIR
  23.             How'd you like me to fix that arm 
  24.             so you can go play with your friends?
  25.  
  26.     The boy hesitates... Bashir moves to him, gently 
  27.     removes his sling.
  28.  
  29.                     BASHIR
  30.             I'm not going to hurt you...
  31.  
  32.     He takes out his tricorder, scans the bone.

  34.                     BASHIR
  35.             You've got a fracture right here. 
  36.             I'll bet it hurts.

  38.     The boy nods... Bashir passes a DEVICE over his arm, 
  39.     bathing it in a warm GLOW...

  41.                     BASHIR
  42.             How's it feel now?

  44.     The boy flexes his arm... a look of utter astonishment 
  45.     crosses his features -- he's fine. He scampers off, 
  46.     happy as can be. A hush of awe comes over the crowd...

  48.                     EPRAN
  49.                 (amazed)
  50.             It isn't possible...

  52.                     EKORIA
  53.             It is. You saw it. He can find 
  54.             a cure for us. But he needs our 
  55.             help.

  57.     Epran seems ready to consider it, but then Trevean 
  58.     steps out of the crowd...
