  7.     the two of them continues.

  10.             I've done more work on my farm in 
  11.             the last three months than you've 
  12.             done in three years.  I've seen weeds 
  13.             that look better than the crops you're 
  14.             growing.

  16.                     LUPAZA
  17.             You know good and well that my soil's 
  18.             more toxic than any farm tract within 
  19.             a hundred kilometers.
  20.                 (Furel rolls his eyes)
  21.             It's true.  Once I get a chance to 
  22.             use one of the reclamators things'll 
  23.             change, I can promise you that.

  25.     Kira shifts uneasily at the mention of this topic.  Shakaar 
  26.     glances at her and then calmly puts it all on the table.

  29.                 (quiet)
  30.             You may not get that chance, Lupaza.
  31.                 (beat)
  32.             Nerys was sent here by the Kai with 
  33.             orders to convince us to return the 
  34.             reclamators to the government.

  36.     Kira looks at Furel and Lupaza, not sure what to expect from 
  37.     them.  They both look at her pleasantly, not at all put off 
  38.     by this news.

  41.                 (to Shakaar)
  42.             And you said no...

  44.                     SHAKAAR
  45.             I said I'd have to think about it.

  48.             There's not much to think about 
  49.             Shakaar... you know that.
  50.                 (pleasant, to Kira)
  51.             Tell the Kai or the First Minister 
  52.             or whatever she wants to be called 
  53.             these days that the answer's no.
