-
- It's the sexiest mag ever seen!
-
- g-o-r-g-e-o-u-s
-
- it's fairly interesting reading, too :o)
-
- kevd
-
- p.s. one cool feature I spotted... the shell's title is "Welcome to:
- Chosneck issue #00001" :o)
-
- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- hehe.. *** SpLaSh! *** wot a spicy comment SH-trois! Muchos gracias! :) we are
- so damn sexy blokes and that's why our common babe is too! =)
-
- What could we add more? We hope that this issue is even sexier than the
- previous one!
-
- but please - DO *NOT* MASTURBATE while reading !!! :)) That would be so
- tasteless... yuk.
-
- Arf... So you noticed this "#00001" thingy... ;) I won't soap up your eyes by
- saying "it was intended"... ;) Unfortunately we couldn't fix this problem by
- ourselves! The truth is that Moonwalker and me were rather lonely putting all
- this Chosneck stuff together... We didn't even know how to change the pic in
- the GEM selector so at the beginning it featured also "Chosneck #1" logo -
- known from the previous issue... ;) Moonie was willing to spread it in that
- state but I didn't agree... I am too pedantic... ;) So after 2 phone-calls to
- Sqward we found the solution to change the pic but not this "#00001" thingy...
- d*mn!
-
- That was a real pain for me! But I agreed to spread it like that 'coz there was
- enough huge confusion with Chosneck numeration ;)
-
- Hehe... just take a look! This small accident has it's own long story ;) I am
- insane! ;)
-
- I owe you a huge mug of cold polish beer for your heavy support for Chosneck,
- pal! =)
-
- Respect!
-
- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- it rules! the intros, interviews and of course the gui/layout are damn fine!
-
- chosneck is the finest looking mag around imho. good luck with the next issues
- =)
-
- grey: you seem to have had a tough time writing all those articles! good job!
-
- will keep me from coding for a while <g>
-
- earx
-
- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- howdy the coolest Ear on earth! :) it's great to have such die-hard readers! :)
- we do our best to improve the existing lows of the magazine and try to fit
- perfectly to readers needs! yup, I did spend a lot of time on all these
- articles esp. the interviews section! I sent the questions to polish sceners in
- our national language and I've been translating all this stuff within a few
- hours sometimes! (cutting the polish slangs which were really damn HARD to
- translate and not very understandable for ppl abroad etc etc.). Not to mention
- the polishing of all this stuff by Sh3... but after such comments like yours I
- see it was WORTH all this trouble!
-
- thx again Pieter and n-joy this issue of Chosneck!
-
- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- Grey,
-
- Once again, thanx for an excellent issue. The shell is the best yet! I've not
- had a chance to listen to the music yet due to having no sound on the monitor,
- but will get that sorted soon :)
-
- Stay cool, stay Atari ! :)
-
- cheers m8tey :)
-
- felice
-
- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- great to hear that you enjoyed the last issue, Richard! the sound (except one
- exception) wasn't the strongest side of the mag so don't worry :) the patches
- to the shell were rather symbolic but nice that You noticed them anyway! :)
-
- Keep reading us!
-
- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- yep yep,
-
- Grey - I havent read the mag yet cos my Falcon hasn't the brainpower, but if
- it's half as good as the intro then it's gonna be deadly!
-
- great work on those intros Mikro/Norm, and looking forward to reading the mag
- sometime soon :o)
-
- damo_rg
-
- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- hmm, a life-sign from a new (potential) reader, yeah! the magazine with 2
- intros was an intended move! just to spice up the existing boredom! ;) we'll do
- our best to continue this glorious tradition as long as possible... :) and
- thanx to your GREAT contribution we can proudly scream "WE DID IT ONCE AGAIN!"
- :)
-
- Thanx for your faith and sympathy!
-
- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- What can I say??
-
- Well, it's a high resolution, high quality work of art. And those intros! Loved
- the twisted reworking of 'Hmmm'!
-
- Nothing else needed to say :)
-
- CiH
-
- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- Quite diplomatic, huh? :) MSB motto: High Quality - that's what matters! :)
- Maybe it doesn't run well on all machines... Maybe it f*cks up from time to
- time... BUT! It's not so easy to ignore, not so easy to forget... that's
- Chos'neck - breakin' ya neck!
-
- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- Grey, that shell design is _amazing_ !!! I really love it even if I'm owner of
- std Falcon. What a pity it isn't readable anymore on 4 MB machines (#0 and #1
- has 70% of articles readable on plain falcy). I wonder why Sqward isn't able to
- code 4 MB shell... There isn't very much stuff to be loaded _permanently &
- resident_ in memory. Player, video ram, backround pics, text, module? Less than
- 3 MB I guess.
-
- Also thanks for your kind words about my intro... this time I'm able to code it
- 2-3 times faster (dsp rulez), but I was in a hurryyyy... (you know, beginning
- of january :)))
-
- MiKRO
-
- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- Yea', You're damn right! I am also fully satisfied with Moonwalker's contribs
- to the mag! Design... that's his job! Maybe it won't sound too modest, maybe
- some ppl will dare to say it's a kind of foppery or sth, but... everytime when
- I get previews of new Chosneck menus I am so EXCITED and PROUD to have such a
- chap in MSB's ranks =) His style rocks! Real masterpieces done is such short
- period of time... (usually 2 weeks before the mag is out!)
-
- Yup, it's a real shame that Chosneck doesn't work on std Falcons and many ppl
- won't notice our heavy effort for the scene... :( That's a real pain, believe
- me! But for the other side I still can't understand WHY THE HELL some ppl keep
- to the humble 4MB? Guys, it's really not COMFORTABLE to do anything under such
- limited memory... I always admired die-hard warriors of ANY affair but this one
- is so weird for me... If ppl still call such a small change in Falcons as
- following PC steps then future isn't too bright... :/
-
- To assume that some ppl won't change their mind we are willing to create
- another shell dedicated to ST and std Falcon users. We just want to meet you
- half-way guys :) Is it gonna to work out? All depends on one good soul who
- promised to make it real...
-
- So hold your head up, Mikro! We'll try to hit more fuji screens in da future!
-
- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- hey Grey,
-
- congrats for giving us another issue of Chosneck (tho I'm a 4mb lamer still :)
- but I still wonder about a possible Chosneck homepage: it doesn't have to be
- huge but would gather news and downloads of all issues. So far where can we get
- all issues ???
-
- think about it and let's hope there's someone brave enough out there to help
- out ! Keep going !
-
- sts
-
- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- Yo, Seb! Yup, we're still here even if the way we're treading becomes more and
- more twisted... lack of support in form of articles, eternal imploring for
- promised stuff almost on our knees... eh, that's our life! Maybe it's gonna
- change someday, who knowz...
-
- Yup, the official www-site with all Chosneck issues is a good idea! And thanx
- to Saulot we could make it REAL finally =)
-
- Nowadys I am too busy "connected" with real-life affairs which don't allow me
- to keep my attention on the scene too long ;) So without Saulots' offer it
- would be just impossible... (thx again, dude!).

- Mystic Bytes releases Chosneck issue #3 February 8, 2003
-
- After the usual rumbles and virtual email inbox on our BBS, a new issue of
- Chosneck has been released tonight.
-
- The mag is larger than ever (in terms of articles) and has an astonishing look!
- This is miles ahead of any other Atari mags today when it comes to layout and
- graphics. Really original!
-
- As usual we have a number of music tracks to select from, and two great Falcon
- intros come with the mag as well!
-
- Now there isn't much more to say than download!
-
- evil
-
- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- Thx for hosting us on DHS www pages since the birth of Chosneck! It was always
- cool to read your nice comments concerning our babe =) We hope that the feeling
- of disappointment never reaches you during throwin' an eye on new issue(s)!
-
- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- Hello my friend!
-
- Congratulations for your new issue of Chosneck! Again - it is a masterpiece and
- I already had some nice hours while reading your articles. The whole thing also
- looks damn good thanks to the skills of moonwalker - really good work!
-
- All in all I have to admit that I liked the mood of the previous issue a bit
- more, because this time there is a big focus on the current (sleepy) state of
- the atari scene and I as a reader can feel your sorrows about that. The thing I
- always like most about Chosneck is its positivity. But of course I can
- perfectly understand you and it is 100% ok to express your true feelings - I
- just hope that not everyone of the atari scene get infected by the end-of-
- atari-world-virus. .-)
-
- Although I like your shell very much there is maybe one thing you could
- improve: It would be great if the shell would remember the text position when
- clicking on a hyperlink.
-
- I am proud to be responsible for the intro part of this issue of Chosneck - my
- best wishes to the forthcoming issues!
-
- ...looking forward to see my Polish friends in Dresden...
-
- take care,
- Norman
-
- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- Hallo, mein freund aus Deutschland! =)
-
- Moonwalker gathers more and more approvals for his work - proportional to
- growin' irritation of his 2nd half Magda for spendin' too much time with
- computers.. ;) Eh... WOMEN... WOMEN! =)
-
- That's true, the 2nd issue wasn't as "positive" as the previous one... eh, ya
- know... we were so shy blokes... =) But seriously - we can't be scared to touch
- HARD topics even if it's painful for some ppl. Our scene has some dark sides as
- well and our goal is to show the way to light them up! We won't write "all's
- fine" when we see the ill parts... we need to cure them while it's not too
- late, mate. 2nd issue was less "positive" but we just decided to take
- responsibility for the future of atari scene, we don't want to be "observers"
- only, there is too many of them already... :/
-
- Thx again for your great intro to Chosneck! We were also so proud to get it
- from you! =) Can't wait to see the follower of "_" and "Hmmm..."!
-
- Keep cool!
-
- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- Hi Grey,
-
-
- just a short notice to thank you for another excellent issue of Chosneck. I
- really enjoyed reading what I have read so far and there's still a lot of
- articles I haven't even touched. :-)
-
- Just for the record i'd like to mention that the 50 Hz RGB mode fails (total
- crash with green stripes on screen), that the overscan is really a bit large on
- 54 Hz RGB and that the shell crashed twice on me when trying to load an
- article. This is not meant as a complaint, I hope you don't take offence. It's
- just that I hope you can "iron out" a few bugs for the next issue which I am
- definitely hoping for. :-)
-
-
- Best wishes to your wife, too :-)
-
- Paranoid
-
- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- Moin Oliver!
-
- Hmmm, we are busy observed by our neighbours over the fence! ;) Of course I am
- kiddin', such a "fence" doesn't exist...
-
- Well, I've got some heavy lashes for this RGB trouble but I am not able to
- change it :( Sqward doesn't want to rummage that deeply into the shell code
- 'coz "it's all crap and he is scared to touch it". We can expect only small
- patches and nothing else.
-
- I have consciousness that watching our mag in RGB is a big misunderstanding, I
- am so sorry! It surely ruins the quality of the mag... Chosneck looks so clean
- and brilliant on VGA screens so maybe we will skip this RGB button to avoid the
- feeling of disappointment...
-
- Regards, Para!
-
- My 2nd half thanks for greetings =) The same 2 Your GF, dude!

- yours truly, this disk magazine is truly the work of a thoughtful effort. Runs
- on RGB and VGA monitors in different refresh rates, and also has a fantastic
