  23.                   unexpected rescue for the polish ST scene?

  28. The ST machine in Poland has  had  no  luck  in comparison to its elder brother
  29. with the 6502  hearbeat.  Most  sceners  brutally  ignored  the  ST's existence
  30. salivating over the picture of Amiga  or  PeeZee...  :( But time is healing the
  31. wounds and the Polish ST scene  is  worth  a  new  look in the near future! All
  32. thanx to some "pearls" showing up lately...  who's that? Well, let's start with
  33. Miker, one of the most merited musicians  on  the polish 8-bit Atari scene.  He
  34. contributed to countless intros, demos and  games... former member of legendary
  35. Slight demo-group. Now he's trying his luck  with  YM trackers on the ST! Yeah!
  36. Miker bought the Mega ST and I did  my  best  to induce him to make it a useful
  37. toy! And believe me or not but this guy is REALLY motivated and I am sure he'll
  38. prove it pretty soon! (if he only manages to fix some troubles with his machine
  39. - paradoxically with... sound! arf!).

  41. Why do I get so excited? Well, if Miker enjoys composing on YM then who knows -
  42. maybe we could expect more followers?  Such  a  legend of the 8-bit Atari scene
  43. should appeal to his scene friends to BUY or  USE their STs as well? Maybe I am
  44. dreaming... But maybe not? :)

  46. Who's next? Oh Yeah, the winner of the Grayscale competition! (BTW- "Grayscale"
  47. is a mixed name built  from  nicknames  of  the  organizers  - Greg and x-RAY).
  48. BeWu was totally unknown musician on the  8-bit  Atari scene and with his music
  49. he beat veterans of the scene! As a prize  he  got a Mega ST and I am sure that
  50. he could compose some kewl songs as well! Miker learning on his own should help
  51. him to make it real! :) (gossip -  rumours said that Grayscale compo was won by
  52. a well-known musician hiddin' under BeWu's  name... there was an interview with
  53. that guy on the net to prove that he exists...).

  55. AY rocker composing on YM?! Why not!  Yerzmey / Hooy-prg was interviewed in the
  56. previous issue of Chosneck and he's  still  very  motivated to compose tunes on
  57. the ST but he's come up  against  some  troubles  with... (holly shit! are they
  58. dogged by ill fortune?)... SOUND! ARF! He  was even exchanging his ST but there
  59. was a similar situation... but  Yerzmey  won't  give  up,  I know him... and if
  60. things fu*k up I will arrange him  a machine... he's worth this trouble! listen
  61. to any of his AY tracks composed on Speccy... amazing!

  63. 3 newbies on the polish ST scene, doesn't  it SOUND so cool? :)) (well... maybe
  64. it doesn't 'coz 2 of them have to  fix sound-troubles first ;) I keep the faith
  65. they can attract even more followers! Our  scene needs a heavy ass-kick to stir
  66. back into life!
