- The question above wasn't given without any reason my friends... We are the
- witness of another SAD trend on the scene. I am typing these words 4 months
- after the end of Error In Line '03... and as most of you I wasn't ABLE to catch
- an eye on all EiL releases till now! Simply 'coz they was not spread so far...
- :( Geesus, what the hell is goin on?! Why that many ppl can't keep to the
- rules?
-
- The EIL organizers were fair enough to allow all ppl taking a part in any
- competiton to finish their entries within' 2 weeks after the party. After this
- time all given releases should have been spread in their original state. Week
- after week passed and few releases are still missing... (!!!)
-
- Some desperately awaiting sceners tried to dig out the release-date directly
- from the creators of each release. And you know what? Some even didn't bother
- to answer! :( I can't find the right words to describe such kinds of
- behaviour... Maybe ignorance...? Be careful if anyone tells you that something
- is "coming soon". BAAAH! I am gonna make a bet it WON'T come "soon" or even AT
- ALL! (e.g. DUNE prods).
-
- I think it's REALLY unfair and all these guys should feel ashamed at least.
- Guys from "Cruor" broke the rules and their demo was kicked out with about 1-2
- weeks delay after the official deadline... But there is a huge abyss between
- them and the rest of the rule breakers. Why? Reading the *.txt attached to
- their demo you could find words like "we couldn't delay the release-date any
- longer so we decided to kick it out in the current state". I guess they simply
- felt a bit ashamed that it was still not released!. And that's what I call a
- *DECENT* STEP. Maximum respect to all ppl who kept to the rules and released
- their intros/demos in time or just after the official deadline. I just think
- it's understandable that if I want to take a part in ANY competition then I
- have to respect all the rules. Isn't it?
-
- Sorry to everyone who felt "mixed with mud" after reading the words above. It
- wasn't intended to blame anyone and I can't wait to see the rest of the missing
- releases but in my opinion all the bounds have been overstepped already...
-
- That's a good lesson for all the organizers. It's time to draw a conclusion for
- the future!
