- The General Electric Network for Information Exchange (GEnie) is an
- electronics telecommunications system with hundreds of services and
- interest areas. In addition you can find everything from the online
- shopping mall to electronic mail (including Internet access). GEnie's
- competitive new monthly rate of 8.95 US per month includes 4 hours of
- connect time. Each additional hour is charged at 3.00 US. 9600 baud
- service is also available at premium rates.

- A computer, modem and telecommunications program are all you need to
- join GEnie. Set up your software to 8 bits, No Stop Bit, 1 Bit Parity
- and local echo. Select 300, 1200 or 2400 baud and call 1-800-638-8369
- (toll free) to sign up. In Canada call 1-800-387-8330. Upon
- CONNECTion enter HHH. At the U#= prompt, type in XTX99259,GENIE and
- press RETURN. Have a major credit card ready. In the US you may also
- use your checking account number. If you have any problems, call
- Customer Service at 1-800-638-9636.

- GEnie is the best online support service for Atari users. ST, STE, TT
- and Falcon users meet in the ST RoundTable on Page 475. Eight-bit
- users meet in the 8Bit RT on Page 665. In both areas you will find an
- extensive Bulletin Board system where messages are organized in
- easy-to-read categories and topics. The RoundTables have very large
- file collections in their respective libraries.
