  1. Edge Editor Help
  2. The edge editor is very similar to the rib editor. However,
  3. it is missing a few options. The edge usually stores
  4. information about the recording eg. source, recording date
  5. and other details.
  6.  
  7. The icons at the bottom of the screen represent the
  8. different functions available to you. In order these are:
  9. ~Pencil~, ~Line~, ~Rectangle~, ~Ellipse~, ~Font~, ~Brush~, ~Fill~,
  10. ~Move~, ~Warp~, ~Erase~ and ~Fatbits~. Clicking on these
  11. icons with the left mouse button will select them. Using
  12. the right mouse button will pop up an option box so that
  13. you can change the available options (to pop down option
  14. boxes use the right mouse button on the same icon).

  16. `Option Descriptions` (L=left mouse button, R=right):
  17. ~Pencil~ - L:draw in black, R:white
  18. ~Line~ - L:draw in black, fix point or join points
  19.        R:start a new poly sequence
  20. ~Rectangle~ - L:draw rectangle in black
  21.             R:scales block (moves bottom right corner)
  22. ~Circle~ - L:draw circle in black
  23.          R:scales block
  24. ~Font~ - L:displays text in black
  25.        R:enter text to be written
  26. ~Brush~ - L:draw in black, R:white
  27. ~Fill~ - L:flood fills an enclosed area, colour depends
  28.        on starting pixel.
  29. ~Move~ - L:1=select source block, 2=destination block
  30.        R:scale block
  31. ~Warp~ - L:1=select source block, 2=destination block
  32.        R:move point/scale block
  33.        R&L:select point to move
  34. ~Erase~ - L:erase in white
  35. ~Fatbits~ - L:zoom in, R:scale block
