  30. Not that I wouldn't fancy good lyrics, but _musically_ I don't care about
  31. the _meaning_ of the text at all. All I care for is how the singing and
  32. speaking _sounds_ like.  And I think John Hurt sounds great. (You said
  33. yourself that he's the ideal embodiment.)
  34. Similar reasoning applies to Rakim's vocals.

  56. I also received the promo pack with the anti-static bag and the promo CD of 
  57. Seduction. This was sent to me by Universal Records themselves. I was so 
  58. ecstatic that I could hardly contain myself !!!!

  60. IMHO, the new CD sounds like In No Sense Nonsense with a few cups of Below 
  61. the Waste and the Hollow Reed soundtrack mixed in with tight D&B
  62. rhythms. The only thing that I was disappointed about was the fact that AON 
  63. was not involved in any of the drum programming. I am also still bitter 
  64. about J.J. retiring from the music industry and not being on the new album. 
  65. But I liked the hidden "dum-dum" samples in "Dreaming in Colour"; that was 
  66. the shit !!! For those who haven't heard the new CD yet, I am truly sorry to 
  67. be leaving you out of the fun and games. Metaforce is the bomb; it has 
  68. definite crossover appeal.

  70. One more thing; for those who haven't seen it, there are two articles on AON 
  71. in the latest issues of CMJ (the one with DJ Rap on the cover), and 
  72. Billboard (the one from last week with the middle spotlight focus on the 
  73. Hawaii music scene).

  113. and front & back inserts (the back one is promo punched thru the UPC
  114. symbol. This item gets pretty hot bids on eBay. I've seen it sell for
  115. over $30, so I am setting a reasonable minimum bid to weed out
  116. rinky-dink early low bids that will just waste everyone's time.
