I have a copy of this, but I don't know anyone else that has been able to
find one in the last four years. It was sold out years ago in Japan. Part
of the problem is that it did not have Zorn's name on it, the artist was
listed as Kirikie Kubo, who I believe does the lead cartoon voice.
The only copies that I know of being sold in the US were at the now long
defunct Lunch For Your Ears in NYC and they got it through Kubo.
There were videos of the cartoon available a while ago, may still be.

I saw Masada in Tower records the other day, for the whopping price of $20. Is
this an import ?
Glenn
[ Glenn, yes, all 3 Masada discs are Japanese imports (well, at least
the 3 I have. -Matt ]

No, he does all of his own booking. he does use a
couple of agencies for Europe depending on the
style of music.

John and Marc do work together but there isn't a
guitar on Masada. Trumpet, sax, bass, and drums.
>Has anyone seen Xu Feng yet?
I saw it at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco
a few years back. It is very similiar to Cobra from an
audience viewing perspective. Any more details my feeble
memory can't handle.
>Zorn and Yamatsuke Eye play the Knitting Factory on 3/16.
Did you go? How did you like it?

I can pretty safely say that Trey is not BucketHead.
BucketHead is much taller. Trey is a great player
though and is often in the SF versions of Cobra.

Ha! That one went out of print practically the day
it was released. I have only seen it once (a friend
let me actually TOUCH it) and he bought it in Japan
where it was released.
The main difficulty is that Zorn's name isn't on
the outside of the disc anywhere. Instead it has
the cartoon artist name...Kuriko Kubo, I believe?
I'm sure many of us are looking for that disc.
BTW: One of the soon to be released FILM WORKS
discs will have some similiar sounding material
on it.
