  118. got the needed exposure through the Montreal jazz fest; the Cd, at first
  119. released by Doublemoon in Turkey, was picked up by a major label and
  120. re-released in main Europe.

  125. smoking indeed (including air quality in the club). Burhan Ocal's recent

  129. an
  130. Dede, Faruk Tekbilek, and Kudsi Erguner. Tacuma is a frequent visitor of
  131. Istanbul since the days of World Bass on Gramavision. And for great, soul=

  133. pop, Sezen Aksu can hardly be beaten....

  173. THis cd called "Untitled improvisations" on the "ILLEGAL RADIO"-label is
  174. apparently their first cd. The cd itself is a CD-r, and it limited to 100
  175. copies. All I know of this label is that is from the US (but the booklet
  176. gives no more details, please correct me if I missed something while reading
  177. the booklet).

  179. About the cd: Not immediately well-recorded (the drums go from inaudible to
  180. immediately very harsh). Dereks' playing however is superb with his hand
  181. made picks... gives him a very spontaneous harsh sound and style. The
  182. drummer (new to me) plays in the vein of Toney Oxley... although he only
  183. uses accoustic elements, but just like Toney, he uses a lot of found
  184. material.

  186. Conclusion: if Bailey is your God (like he is for me), go for it, but if you
  187. are not a completist... I would not buy it.

  230. Standards" (one of my favourites). The only issue is the price: 37 USD.

  652. Audiogalaxy is great, and they also have a mac-version. Go to versiontracker
  653. to download the mac-client. I found some pretty nice mp3's and the nice
  654. thing is you can put your choices on hold until the person who has the files
  655. gets online. The program automatically starts downloading when he/she is.
  656. Can't wait to get those 50 Raymond Scott-songs.. Pay them a visit!
