Is anyone besides me aware of the DUPLEX PLANET HOUR disc? David Greenberger
reading various quotes and anecdotes fr his DUPLEX PLANET magazine, with
music by Terry Adams (and a band of Terry, and Sun Ra horns Tyrone Hill &
Dave Gordon)? It's by far my favorite record in this format. The text could
have worked without the music and vice versa, but they're just stunning
together.
There are plans in the works for discs of the two live Duplex Planet Radio
Hour b'casts that NPR did in '93, with Terry, Greg Cohen, Tom Ardolino, and
Karen Mantler as well.

I saw that there is a cd by William S Burroughs "Naked Lunch".
What is it like? Is it a mixture of his words an music like "spare ass
annie" or "seven souls" or does he read the whole book?

Does anybody know the name of a label that was doing CD-R reissues of late 70s/early 80s punk and power pop? They had two or three dozen releases, all collecting seven-inches. The releases were sold through Other Music; apparently there was also an article about them in Spin.

It's not the entire book, though it does run some 3 hours(at
least the version I have on cassette does)
It's a Hal Wilner production, The Music; (by Wayne Horvitz,Bill
Frisell, and Eyvind Kang) plays a back seat to Burroughs' reading on
this one.
