thanks for the David Ware reality check. again, I'm amazed about people's
(mostly) favorable reaction to his music (just maybe not on this board)....
re: Fuck de Boere, it's sick. better recording quality than Machine Gun or
for that matter, any early Brozmann. bailey plays his ass off, more than
anyone think. essential if you like that shit... so buy it (even though I
can hardly tell the horns apart, because they're essentially doing the same
thing). HEY-- serious question-- is that Evan taking the first sax solo on
Fuck de Boere?
BTW: Assif Tsahar has a few copies of a very limited Brotzmann-Derek
Bailey-Sabu live set from Japan. if you see him at the Vision Festival this
week, ask him about it. it looks killin'....
