Last month Brit magazine Jazzwise mentioned that Bill Laswell has just done
a "Panthalassa" to the second Tony Williams Lifetime album Turn It Over.
Meant to be ground shaking and with an extra 20 minutes including "the
fiercest McLaughlin guitar ever heard".
Does anyone know anything, like a label and release date?

Someone finally mentions Yoko Ono! I'm surprised she isn't discussed here that often to be honest. Fly, and Yoko Ono/Plastic Ono Band, are simply brilliant, imho.

I find it hard to believe that Patton can be dismissed
as he was by his disliker. Seeing bands like Fantomas,
in fact seeing Fantomas was the best musical
experience of my life....fair enough, you say he
should stick to rock music....but then you listen to
Rumori Nutrienti on his solo album and its fantastic.
I have heard many a saxophone solo by Zorn which
includes pieces from that tune (which Patton wrote
note for note, I asked him myself), he can't be all
