  62. method of  obtaining artists work for free is the logical choice...

  65. work for free everyone should have the opportunity to say they should have
  66. made some money on that song or CD ?

  101. themselves,
  102. putting some of their music on the web might lead to more exposure

  124. original question: "Are there any rare Yello songs available on the net"?

  129. After all, music is freely available on radio and on TV; and nobody minds
  130. about copying music from there (as long as you do it for your own purpose).
  131. In fact I started becoming a Yello fan after having copied Vicious Games
  132. from radio to tape and after having listened to it for a couple of times.

  135. Artists might worry if availability on the internet keeps consumers from
  136. buying songs on CD, alright. But what if those songs aren't available
  137. anymore in the shops like the ones I am looking for? I personally have all
  138. Yello songs published on their albums, but just a couple of maxi CDs. So
  139. why should Yello worry about me getting the rest from somebody on the net?
  140. (And don't tell me that Mercury are going to re-issue the B-sides or the
  141. rarities like IT splash and that stuff for those few Yello freaks like
  142. us...). Pop music is part of our culture; the internet is one way of
  143. preserving it.=20

  146. I have the feeling that Yello fans tend to be a bit conservative (due to
  147. age?). Pity, but that seems to be the case.=20
