Subject: (yello) How How/Tremendous Pain
Date: 01 Jan 1997 10:11:56 +0100
As usual, for Yello's own original versions,
always refer to my non-album list. It lists
*every* track or version that Yello themselves
made.
Here's a guide to How How remixes anyway:
The Fluke Mixes are actually quite OK, not too
different from the Yello sound. Normally I
really detest DJ/re-mixes, but this time it's
OK. The only problem is that all Fluke
mixes sound the same. But remember that Yello
have absolutely *nothing* to do with these mixes.
The Plutone Mixes are crap. Only for completists.
Tremendous Pain: Yello made their own mixes
on this one, so if you want their own mixes, go
on and buy it. There are also some non-Yello
mixes on it (German: 2 mixes; US: 2 mixes).
Mind you: if you've heard one Yello remix, you've
heard them all: their Tremendous mixes are very
sound-alike, just like on the Jungle Bill single. It's
their most "techno" so far, and probably not very
enjoyable unless you love hard core techno.
Finally, like I said, I have details on all of Yello's
own mixes on my Yello page.
Regards,
Jonas Warstad

Thanks for your confidence. Believe me, I have probably written
more letters and made more phone calls to Yello management
and to Mercury Records in Hamburg, than any other fan! I have
made more suggestions that you could ever imagine, and asked
even more questions. The result? Well, so-so. One person, who
is the most knowledgeable person, working directly with Yello,
has told me that Boris agrees on a long interview for a book.
Which is not bad. And when I asked the boss of Mercury if and
when all "rare" Yello tracks will be released (I phoned him in
Spring 1996), he told me that their priority now is the new LP
which was scheduled for release in May 1996! He also told
me that Yello are "always late", but he did so without any
criticism in his tone of voice, implying that he and Yello had
by now reached a point were they were even joking about it.
When I asked if Mercury had any intention of releasing B-sides,
12" mixes etc, he told me it was only a matter of negotiation,
meaning that Mercury was open to my suggestion, but that
they had to get an approval from Yello themselves first.
I also asked Mercury for any information they had on Yello,
and I was told that all info was stored in computers, and that
they would send it to me. Nothing happened so far..... :(
I still haven't heard from Yello about my interview, either. :(
I keep getting the reply that Boris is "almost finished" with his
new album, and that they will phone me very soon....
Conclusion: I would be delighted to maintain their official page,
but why should they let me? It's probably easier for them to
let a hired pro do the job for them, a German/Swiss one that they
could contact easily for updates. Money is no problem for Yello.
Having said all this, I will of course suggest all these things
to Yello when (IF!) I get my interview. But I'm certain that they
will update their page for the coming album.
> Ok, everybody are making discographies these days: Lazlo, a person in
> Finland, Jonas, and even I have Yello Songs listing based on Lazlo's
> official discography. Perhaps we could make just one discography
> which satisfies all of us?
I guess not. We all have our own ideas of how it should be structured.
For example, I will not include promos, foreign countries, test pressings,
etcetera. Only Germany, UK and US. There are more differences, and
our discographies will complement each other. I want to make a discog
that's succint and precise, stressing the various mixes and durations.
And Lazlo's discography is not "official". Official means authorized in
this case, which it is not. No criticism, it's the most complete on the
net. (But not really updated) And one more thing: I don't think that the
other discogs are merely "based on Lazlo's official discography".
I made my own researches based on my own records and information,
and I believe that the other persons also did their own researches.
OK, that's all for now. I hope that we will soon see the new album,
and that more acticity will follow: discussions, singles, my interview,
plans for "rare" CDs, an updated Yello official page, etcetera!
Best,
Jonas Warstad

Hi. Do buy this
CD5: 1994 GE (Mercury; 856143-2) ["1: The Originals"]
2:38 How How (single version)
5:54 How How (the premix)
3:30 Moon Dog
to get the Moon Dog; it is instrumental and item for true Yello fans only.
Forget Plutone and Fluke mixes -- is that the same Fluke who made the
recently discussed Atom Bomb song?
CD5: 1994 GE (Mercury; 856139-2) ["2: The Plutone Mixes"]
CD5: 1994 GE (Mercury; 856137-2) ["3: The Fluke Mixes"]
Buy this
CD5: 1994 GE (Mercury; 856141-2)
2:38 How How (single version)
5:54 How How (the premix)
5:32 Breaks, Beats & Loops - The How How Samples [see below]
to get the sound samples.
Do buy this
CD5: 1995 GE (Mercury; 856749-2)
3:59 Tremendous Pain (suite 904 single version)
6:39 Tremendous Pain (suite 904)
9:15 Tremendous Pain (bible mix)
6:54 Tremendous Pain (bobby d'ambrosio's house mix)
7:16 Tremendous Pain (steve mac's extended mix)
3:58 Tremendous Pain (album version)
to get three first songs in this CD single, they are Boris remixes.
All three songs are quite similar together but are very different
what is on Zebra. I like them. They are very techno, ravy. Nice TB303
type *vocal* bass instrument.
Be amazed how bad a third party remixes can be by listening to fourth
and fifth songs of that CD single!!
Buy this
CD5: 1995 US (4th & B'Way/Island/Mercury; 162-440608-2)
and this
12": 1995 US (4th & B'Way/Mercury; PR12-609-1) [promo; yellow vinyl]
to get
9:10 Tremendous Pain (suite 904 alternative vocal)
and
9:10 Tremendous Pain (suite 904 alternative instrumental)
respectively.

Anyone out there living in Ireland and is a fan of yello. I find it very
hard to get my hands on CD singles of yello, I can only usually find the
main stream CD singles like jungle bill and the "how how" 3 CD single
collection.
I would be very interested in purchasing a tremndous pain CD single, any
suggestions. Would I be able to order it in Virgin Megastore or even
perhaps HMV !!

How many are there? There's the one I started back in '88 or '89, which
Lazlo and I started, and he now maintains. If you've got different listings,
it'd be best to have all the info in one place. If you can't beat 'em, join

Hi
I have to disagree with you on the how how mixes. I think the Fluke mixes
are very good it keeps the Yello nature in mix, and the plutone mixes are
very good also. But I can see if you dont like tekno you probably wont like
them. As far as the Tremendous pain I think that was Boris's greatest
accomplishment as far as the deep dance music is concerned.
I dont know if you noticed but in the "moondog" song Boris sampled the
probe sound in Star Treck with the whales. Julian

I was looking through my files and found a neat item from the Stella press
kit that some of you may not have seen before. The page is titled "Deiter
Meier Interprets 'Stella' -Track by Track".
"Desire"- Night, alone amongst the crowd, the usual juant from one club to
another. From the heavy darkness of the last bar, out onto the street, in the
sunlight that bursts in you face, hurting your eyes and the heavy laughs at
all the craziness: the desire for everything. "Desire for the unknown eyes,
desire for the unknown name, I'm burning in the morning sun, I run and run.
The sun, blowing the moon away, lights me up for one more day. The streets
are naked in the morning sun, the night is behind me, I run and run."
[ footnote: it was during this period a penfriend of mine got an autograph
from Deiter at a bar in Austria]
"Vicious Games"- I've hurt you, and now that you're gone, I love you. Don't
ever come back, I don't ever want to hurt you again.
"Oh Yeah"- "The sun...beautiful, the moon...even more beautiful." The
fantastic naive beauty of the Southern Seas. the majestic King Tou Tou,
rolling his eyes, explains to the English Ambassador, who just arrived, about
the red sun that dives into the Pacific Ocean. How he waits for the moon
which will come to refresh him once again tonight!
"Desert Inn"- "It's crazy to enter the bar, it's crazy to see Baby, it's just
crazy." 650 miles past Sand Diego, across the deserts of Arizona and New
Mexico, in the cold night of the desert, the gas tank filled twice and even
that lost time, I enter the bar where Mona, the divine Mona, pretends for a
long time that she hasn't been waiting for me, then with Casablanca eyes,
asks if I had a smooth trip. My heart trembles like it used to, and I owe it
all to Mona.
"Stalakdrama"- The prisoner's scream liberates the rock, and the entie cave
trembles with this new freedom. Nino Rotta pulls a swan across the lake, and
the princess plays the trumpet for the first time.

I haven't updated the Yello discography since early this summer because I've
only received a small number of additions since the last update. If you have
information you think should be in there, Jonas, please feel free to
contribute it -- but there certainly aren't any offerings from you in the
queue.
As far as other discogs are concerned -- if other folks want to do their own,
that's fine by me as long as they don't simply steal mine and use it for their
own purposes . . . which has happened in the past, unfortunately. I don't
have any illusions about being able to please everybody.

Julian and all, I have not heard the Fluke and Plutone mixes of How How
at all. They just are third party remixes and I have heard too many
other third party remixes. Perhaps I'm missing something by not owning
those versions.
Perhaps I will look for that probe sound in Star Trek movies. If the sound
is just a sound made by whales, then it is available in many sound libraries.
Jonas could ask Boris if he himself steals sounds from others, right Jonas?
I agree with Cliff about discographies. I have already started to
write the Yello database from which various discographies could be
printed out. Contact to me if you want discuss about technical details.

Dear Yello fans!
May I present my new discography, which covers
all German releases. As I told you before, it's
succint and precise, and introduces a New Standard.
All tracks are scrutinized to the most minute detail
to get this New Standard, meaning that all releases
have very details information about track length and
versions. All tracks that are the same, also have a
standard duration, no matter what duration is given
on the cover. This clears any confusion. I determined
the durations by using the CD player clock (exactly
when the music stops).
For vinyl-only tracks/versions I didn't rely on the
durations given, but I clocked the tracks, all of them,
(having secured the 33rpm speed of course).
Next I will do the UK discog, then the US.
(So, Lazlo Nibble, you see now that this isn't a rip off
from your discog....)

Yello detectives wanted:
******************************
I'm looking for three reliable Yello discography partners.
One for German releases, one for UK and one for US,
for "detective field work". I will maintain all my discogs
myself, but there are some things that I can't do from
where I live, mainly asking for release dates in your
record store, giving me tracks listings on some singles
(even I don't buy everything!).
You should be a serious Yello fan, preferably a collector
of both CD and vinyl, a Yello expert in your part of the
world, and generally on the ball. (Girls are welcome too!)
You will be specially mentioned in my discog, of course.
Honour, honour!

This concludes "Dieter Meier intperprets 'Stella'- Track by Track" (see
digest for previous)
"Koladi-Ola" - Van Fletcher, after a mortal taxi ride in his shiney,
chome-covered Chevrolet, swerves into a gas station, his mind drugged with
the solitary Saturday blues, lets the gas overflow, and sets fire to his
Baby. The sky opens, two angels descend to earth and put things in order.
"Domingo"- "Domingo, you showed us just nothing like no one before."
Preachers in the desert, hell-bound Cerberus, mast climbers, mourners and the
Pope's son who also wants to become Pope, all let themselves be exalted and
damned by Domingo de Santa Clara, who entered the Wallenstein camp under a
false name, driving the officers of the superstitious Marshall crazy by
promising them prey and loot.
"Sometimes (Dr.Hirsch)"- "Sometimes I wish I could cry." Not being able to be
loved and hoping at least to know the sensation of pain. But even that is
refused to this poor heart of stone. This hunted man takes one plane after
the other, meeting friends in different cities...and talks...talks way too
much.
"Let Me Cry" "All these years I haven't seen you, love is still the same. Now
you must believe me, now I play my game. I know I left you when I loved you,
couldn't tell you why. Too sad the day, too sad for tears...let me cry."
"Ciel Ouvert"- Madame Pasquier calls the damned around her. An army of
helicopters circle down from the sky, like bees on the first days of early
summer, and under her orders form the choruses of tin and steel: where is the
Redemption, Madame?
"Angel No"- The angel protects the witch against herself, and attracts her
into the house of a crook who does not want to live in the drunkenness of her
beauty.

I can help with a little info about this...
Perez Prado (trumpet/bandleader) is an excellent place to start. Fun, fun stuff!
Some of the most enjoyable music in the entire world. Of course, he is very
famous for the classic "Cherry Pink (and Apple Blossom White)" (aka "Cerezo
Rosa"), but it is the mambos which will really get you scooting around the floor.
"10 Grandes Exitos Para PEREZ PRADO y su Orquesta" (RCA/Bertelsmann de Mexico
#9741-2-RL) is a good introduction. Some of these recordings might date back
fifty years or more! I received this as a gift, but I believe it's fairly cheap
(around $7.00, US). It should be readily available in the United States, in the
"Latin Music" section of a good, large store.
Another good C.D. I have is "Sabroso!" (Fantasy/Original Jazz Classics #OJCCD
-281-2) by percussionist/bandleader Mongo Santamaria. This was recorded in the
early 1960s. It isn't as "pop"-sounding as, say, Perez Prado, and may be of more
interest to jazz fans. Some of the songs here are examples of the "charanga"
style, which I've read was enormously influential on disco groups like Chic. I
couldn't notice that immediately, but this is still a very energetic and enjoyable
C.D. Santamaria has many other albums available on C.D. Check the "Jazz" section
of your music store.
Another excellent starting point is Tito Puente. And there are many others...

Dieter is only allowed into the studio after Boris is finished, he only
does the vocals. On One Second Dieter actually participated by
helping out with the samples that Boris needed - mainly the practical
work like throwing a snowball against a wall. No complicated things.

No, they're not joking. As we all know, Boris does the studio work,
and then he "truly invites" Dieter into the studio to do the lyrics and
vocals, usually in a week or two. That's how they work. Obviously
during the recording of One Second, Dieter was "occasionally present"
during the producing and engineering process, but I doubt that he did
more than giving his point of view. Boris does the "knob work".

Count Fontclaire asked the "genre question" to which jcastle@eden.com
responded with source information about Perez Prado, Tito Puente and Mongo
Santamaria. I'd like to add to this.
Boris may indeed have been influenced by these standards but a few
others
worthy of noting here are August Darnell and Coati Mundi. They too no doubt
were influenced by the aforementioned masters but throughout their recording
careers have managed to build collages based on fusing sounds of Afro-Cuban,
Salsa, Mambo and other latin standards with modern dance (disco at times) to
arrive at their own unique signature.
Together they basically *are* Kid Creole & the Coconuts and Dr.
Buzzards Original Savannah Band. Their reach goes well beyond that in having
penned the disco standard "There But For The Grace of God (Go I)" and
providing the orchestration for Christina's cover of the Beatles "Drive My
Car." (this rendition seems to have a loose tie to "I Love You"??) Their
"moment in the sun" may have been an on stage appearance in the movie
"Against All Odds" (club scene).
I would suggest the SIRE releases of the mid '80's for starters.
While at the podium, I think it is woth mentioning here that the
creators of Ace Ventura-Pet Detective missed a golden opportunity to use
Yello's music in the Cuban Pete sequence.

Most folks might find it a little easier to track down Prez's US compilation
CD "Mondo Mambo! The Best Of Perez Prado And His Orchestra" (Rhino R2-71889).
Those of you in Europe have quite a few more Prado reissues to choose from, so
take advantage of it!

(jcastle@eden.com) gave direction to the "source" of some of this music that
was sought.
I feel it is also important to point out some artists that were
influenced by these classics and may have helped fuel Boris' fire as well.

That "sound" can also be heard in some of their productions and/or
songs they've penned. Machine did "There But For The Grace of God (Go I)" and
Christina sang the Beatles "Drive My Car" in a M.Monroesque style with the
guys providing the orchestration-classic. (appeared on a ZE Records
compilation that also introduced Was(Not Was) ). Hindsight shows she would've
made a great chioce as vocalist for "Vicious Games."

At least I can say that the Multimediashow in Munich is
kind if pre-viewing the Yello album Pocket Universe in

Hi again !
Well, You are right my homepage is
http://unet.univie.ac.at/~a9103394
I used the long break in the winter holidays to
clean my homepage up:
So will only get the Yello pages, because I
had not enough time to finish the others.
(Yes, I have also other things to do...studying...girlfriend...work...)
I added the Yello-news. Where I will update all
the info I get from my record store, friends
and also from this Yello list - Hope this is no problem for you.
You will find most of the words of yellosongs
(including the Arab Quad El Habib, Beyond Mirrors
in English and German)
I tried to make soundfiles of On Track and Beyond Mirrors,
but I failed to convert them from Mac to WAVE data.
Hope somebody has an idea how to solve this problem.
The discography in my site is not complete, but I
can say that I own most of the vinyl's you see.
So it is primarily to show my collection to others.
I am planning to add links with pictures and text
to most of the files.
Jonas and Lazlo have a different opinion about disccogs,
but I think we live in the age of multimedia, and
the internet is the right media to publish such things
with picture and sounds links. A standard discography
is a thing you can send via e-mail or by fax.
Yes and the last thing I want to say is:
I've got a second ON TRACK box.
Somebody interested.

I definitely would agree with ya. I don't know how well Jim would have

Nothing happened so far, except for big plans. :-)
Now it's retitled Once upon a Dream, by the way.
It's basically a finished film and also a finished

"Pocket Universe", the brand-new album of the Swiss music group YELLO,
began on 06 December 1996 as a multi-media musical show in the
Planetarium of the Technical Forum. Similar to (? anllich) this
premiere, the cuts of the new CD "Pocket Universe" by YELLO were
presented, which will be offered worldwide first in February 1997. So
visitors to the Planetarium already have the opportunity to hear and see
the multi-media musical extravaganza by Dieter Meier and Boris Blank.
The show was assembled from an idea by Dieter Meier, where "Pocket
Universe", the pocket universe of the (Klnge, no idea) on the
Planetarium, the Pocket Universe of Lights, was found. Dieter Meier
about the YELLO project in the Technical Forum: "In the Planetarium,
the place-charm (no colloquial translation I can think of) of YELLO
found its true home and is, after years of desperate search from towns
and (Wsten -- no idea) returned to the source of childlike (can't tell,
too many letters missing). To me, the Planetarium is like a circus of
lights. In its dome is condensed the illusion of the Universe, which
men call God and a child at the same time, will be astonished at the
endless and lost (or left -- lt ?) between (betren) moving points of
light in a display on stone."
The stylized Kobold found on the CD jacket (? Hlle) of "Pocket Universe"
can be found playing a major role in the multi-media show; he is the
main rogue from the satchel (or box), a Kaspar that the (Diodennase ...
something-nose) shines and cable-hairs stand on end, if he (the next
part is literal; may have a colloquial meaning I'm not aware of) if he a
trace too inquisitive from rope-dance to trapeze act changes. The
pocket-player of (Klnge) tests Houdini's escape act; the Lion-wife bears
(? Percke), the calf with two heads is a mirror trick. And
Kobold-Dance-Already studies electricity to ...
(Translator's note: That last paragraph doesn't mean a great deal to
me; maybe it will make more sense to those familiar with the group's
work.)

Tanks again, Ann. You have no idea how much we appreciate the work that
you put into it. BTW! If anyone of you want to send Ann a personal

Hi Yello fans,
this is my translation of the leaflet, available at the Munich planetarium. I
went wrong last week, as I read the ad of the Munich's IMAX, announcing
YELLO. They also run the planetarium and merge the different offers in one
ad.
Here is the translation of the German text:
Yello Pocket Universe
Dieter Meier and Boris Blank are reporting back as Dr. Mabuse of magic words
and monsieur Bocus of electronic music - worldwide know as YELLO: they
discovered the "Pocket Universe". Absolutely distinct: stop with the old
yearnings in trying to explain the universe and trying to use scientific
theories as a substitut for religions: Pocket Universe is the name of the new
trend towards techno. And this is the way, how the two swiss trendsetters
show, what music really means acting as a interstellar language. Singing
goblins, sparkling (kitchen) strainers and flashes in a eggcub are granting
marvelous discoveries of the bizarre world of Yellos Music. "Pocket
Universe", the multimedia music show, offers even now a foretaste for the CD
of the same name, which will come out in February 1997.

Tom,
the Munich "Deutsches Museum" houses two institutions in their "Forum der
Technik". One is a regular IMAX theater, the other is a planetarium. "Pocket
Universe" is presented at the planetarium. I was confused, because the
newspaper's ad of the IMAX presents all shows in the same manner. So I tried
to visit the planetarium this week, but unfortunately, they seem to have some
unexpected renovation work to do. So the planetarium is closed from Monday to
Friday. And all the weekends Yello shows are sold out! They will start
regular operation in end of January. I hope to be lucky to get in soon.

For those of you that have visited my home page (and those that
haven't), I have finally finished composing an update to our favorite
Desktop Theme. It's the "YELLO Desktop Sound Theme". Check out
http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Park/9706/yellowav.htm and take a
look. I'm think you'll be impressed :)
I'm hoping that all of you will enjoy the work that I put into this. It
took a total of 2 days non-stop work to complete (minus the pizza, Coke,
and bathroom breaks, of course ;). I will also be updating my Favorite
Free-time pages, in the near future, to include updated Yello info,
including a listing of the albums that I have in my collection.
Enjoy.

Subject: (yello) Death of Billy MacKenzie
Date: 24 Jan 1997 10:06:18 GMT
I'm sure members of the list will be saddened to hear of the untimely
death of Billy MacKenzie, sometime Yello associate, and frontman of
80's synthpop outfit The Associates.
Billy was found dead on the farm where he lived near his father's
dog breeding stables in Auchterhouse, just north of Dundee,
Scotland.
Fans will remember him for his vocals on some fine Yello songs,
including 'Capri Calling', and 'The Rhythm Divine'. The 'One Second'
LP is littered with beautifully distinctive backing vocals from
Billy, and he has also worked on other Yello projects. Boris Blank
worked with Billy on his last LP, notably on the Yelloesque single
'Baby'. In his long career with the Associates he scored notable hits
with 'Party Fears Two', 'Club Country' and '18 Carat Love Affair',
and marvellously eclectic albums such as 'Sulk' and 'Breakfast'.
Billy's operatic singing voice was one of the most distinctive in
music.
The cause of death is, to date, unknown. Billy was just 39.
I think we should all go home and play 'Capri Calling' tonight, and
say a small prayer for Billy and the family he leaves behind.

Date: 25 Jan 1997 03:24:01 +0200
Yeah. New Yello single "To the Sea" (or such) is out because I did
hear it from radio few minutes ago. What is a surprise, is that there
is no typical Yello sounds or effects used. Woman singer but the
vocals are not processed any curious way -- they are normal.
I don't know what version I did hear but I seriously hope it was
a third party remix. :-/
I waited about a minute the previous song to end and to make room for
the new Yello song, but actually that song was the Yello song.
This time you could not say that it is a Yello song by listening to
first ten seconds :-(
It is okay song anyway. Quite smooth technoque song with okay vocals.

The song is in file yello-to-the-sea.wav in the songs/ subdirectory.
The audio is 16 bit, stereo, 11025 Hz. By the way, this is only what
I did got to tape because I didn't recognize the song in the first
place.
Okay I will take a bit back about the unprocessed vocals; there is
some processing done but I have to listen to this sample yet one more

Subject: (yello) "To the sea" video
Date: 26 Jan 1997 11:31:25 +0100
Hi!
This morning at 5:56 a.m. MTV Europe broadcast the new Yello video clip on
Chillout Zone. Dieter and Boris climb walls and swim in the streets of an
American city. Others jump horizontally through the air, like from diving
towers. This video has nothing in common with the videos Yello did before,
and the music is rather different as well. I suppose MTV and other TV
stations will broadcast it often in the near future.
To me it was high time that Yello changed style a bit. Nevertheless this
song lacks the ingenuity of earlier songs (like Goldrush) which Yello tried
to copy on the last albums (How How and other songs). Well, I suppose you
can't expect them always to have great ideas. But I like the fact that they
continue their musical development. I wouldn't have expected so, to be honest.
Greetings

As far as I've been able to verify, To the Sea is not
released yet. It's only been played on the radio by
some station(s) that somehow got hold of it, maybe
a promotional CD.
Strangely, it seems that it'll not be on the album.
Stina Nordenstam contributes the vocals on it,
she was last heard on Vangelis' new CD. She's

Hi. Beyond Mirrors sounds like it will not appear in the album 'as is'.
If true, I have to try to find the Star Trek CD.
Also, could somebody (Jonas?) verify from the record company if the
remixes of the On Track are by Boris or not? Names of the remixes
indicates that the remixes are not by Boris but...
Could you Georg sample 15 secs (say) from various remixes such that we
may listen to the Yelloness of the remixes? Please sample with 11025 Hz,
16 bit, and stereo such that at least the dynamics and the stereoness
comes ok.
Has somebody heard of that Tina Turner cover of Yello? I looked to large
book of releases and all versions of Nutbush City Limits were by Tina.

Hopefully, On Track will soon be released as a (or rather: several!)
CD-Maxi(s), and then the truth will be revealed. Obviously since it
was a limited DJ vinyl set only, they never bothered to indicate who
did the remixes, probably because it's obvious to the DJs themselves?
I'm almost positive that Boris only did the original.

The information is in my German Discography, I have the song on tape
and even though I don't like (an understatement!) so called techno, I
kind of liked this one. Yello worked together with two other artists on
this song, so it's not a 100% Yello song, but anyway.

Sorry Juhana, but that makes no sense.
I don=B4t think that anybody could tell the "yelloness" of a remix
when he hears only 15 seconds.
I added a one minute sample of the original version.
Next time I will delete the long "Beyond Track" sample
and change it with the different mixes.
I am not shure about using 16bit and stereo,
becuse I do not have enough webspace.
Well your idea with the exclusive Yello club sounds fine.
But I think we are exclusive enough on this mailinglist.
But I agree with making a global www.site only with YELLO topics.
