'Andy' was a single released by 'You Know Who' (Hubertus Hohenlohe =
[coproducer of Ms Bassey's vocals on 'The Rhythm Divine'] and =
others). Dieter Meier sang about four words over and over in between =
verses on the title track. (Hubertus sang the verses.)

I hope no-one gets offended if I say the song was trash. Why did =
Dieter do it?

MP3's are illegal, it's that simple.

You breach copyright when something sourced from the same location (say your
copy of Zebra for example) can be used in multiple locations at the same time
(you make an cassette and/or an mp3)

Depending on where you are in the world determines how technical you are about
such things (cassette copy for the car for example).

I's the same story with warez; if you get busted with mp3's you would expect to
spend some time at the pleasure of the state

For the purposes of radio timing, I have used a stopwatch to time
records, not just Yello, but a very large proportion of my collection
which has or the potential to be used in radio.

Often a track timing is given, and it can vary on average by 5 to 10
seconds, sometimes by as much as a minute. It may be an error, it may be
by design. I can only think that the reasoning is that they used the real
time counter on a tape machine.

However it does not explain why CD timings are also out, they are better
in accuracy, but still not exact. However it's fair to say in CD that
there are different timings that the player can report. Try pausing a CD
right at the beginning of track 1 and press reverse scan (not track skip)
- - you may be surprised.

PU has a number of track times that vary with the album listing, but it
could be that my CD player reports them differently
