SEnd a check? I was going to trade cards for those items. There was no
money involved whatsoever. Like I said before, I can prove that Glen is
lying when he says that Kristy never signed for that package. Also, if I
was going to rip you off, why would I send the package by registered mail?
That doesn't make sense. I'm paying money to send an empty package to you,
where there would be a record of me sending an empty package to you.
That's a bloody joke.

Send at the same time? Maybe this email will refresh your memory:

Buddy, I don't know what you're on, but cut the dosage. You've been
lying to me from the start, and you're still lying to me. You want to slam
me on AOL, go ahead. You've taken the joy out of internet trading. I
agree with Mitch, this event has soured me big time. Is this a personal
vendetta? Yes, but you would be mad too if he took over $400 of cards from
you. I won't rest until I get my items or you're off the internet forever.

Subject: (TrekTrade) The Glen Saga Continues
Hi all,
I really don't want to get in the middle of this, but I have seen
way to many posts about him in the newsgroups not to say anything. I was
about to trade Glen an uncut card sheet for some tapes, and everything was
going good, but I decided to check him out. I found quite a few bad trader
alerts about him and his various other aliases .When I asked him, he said
that he had only had a bad dealing with one person, but I asked the people
what had happened [I wrote to two people who said he was a bad trader], one
said that he had ordered some hardware, and after continually sending
messages he got it, but it was opened, dirty and in bad condition. The other
person said hw never even got his stuff. So I decided against trading with
him.
This post is no notify people about him. I just went to dejanews and typed
his various names in and got a few hits, most of which talked about him as
being a bad trader. I'm sure if any of you who gets this email, and does the
same thing, will geet the same results. So again, I say I don't want to get
in the middle of this, just inform the people about the info that is out
there about him. I mean, if people out there wrote that about him, then the
people here deserve to see it.

In a message dated 98-05-29 10:40:37 EDT, you write:
<< How can you say one bad trade? You stole money from me. I have every
single one of our emails back and forth saved on my hard drive -- I
*know* what went on between us. My original posting was asking if
anyone had any StarGate cards available. I had a couple responses ...
One of those was from you, and you also sent me a list of other things
you had, including the nine inch nails bootleg video. As I told you, I
was ordering it for a friend's birthday the next week. I asked you how
much it would be, and you replied that it would be $20 plus postage ...
I made it $25, so you could send it by 2-day mail. I mailed the money
to you on April 14th.
In the two weeks that followed, your emails varied from saying you never
received it, to you received it and were sending out my video, to you
had already sent the video, and then the last one turned around and said
you had never received it. When I questioned this - after you'd already
admitted you'd received my money - you never responded.
...i may have had u confused with someone else...
but... i corrected that situation... and told u that i never got any money
from u... therefore u never got a tape...
i respond to all mail i get.. absolutely every mail...
i suppose u have a copy of the check or money order u used..
and u can send that to me... and ill know that i got ur money...
if not... then ill assume u meant to send the money.. and u forgot..
and wanted to blame me.. for something.. since accepting the
blame urself.. would mean u were wrong...
I sent you another email early this week, basically asking how you
could live with yourself after breaking that young boy's heart?
... i did no such thing... if u hadnt gotten the tape yet.. there was
no reason to tell him that there was one coming..
especially when u say u ordered it just before it was needed..
i will wait til i get some proof from u before sending out the tape
that u wanted.. but ... i will make it up for u.. anyway.. so i can
send it to u... quickly.. upon receiving a xerox of the check or
money order...
of course if u are accusing me.. i would expect that u have
this... right??
I've only made 2 trades since I've been on email. One was with Jeff,
for the StarGate cards. Within a week of my mailing the money order, I
had 7 sets of cards at my doorstep waiting for me.
The other was with you. It's been nearly 2 months.
...ok so u do use money orders... fine... then u should have some
sort of proof that u sent me one... right??
You hurt me, you hurt my friend, and you hurt everyone here, by not
being honest.
....i didnt hurt anyone by not being honest...
if i get money.. i send the tapes.. thats how i work...
i have been doing mail order business for almost 20 yrs now..
and have never had this kind of problem before...
ur just jumping on the bandwagon...
I guess I'll never get what I paid for ... I only make one request.
Next time you screw someone over, at least do the courtesy of asking
first.
...asking them if i can screw them over??? huh??
next time u accuse.. make sure u can back up ur claims with a
copy of the money order or check.... if u cant.. then keep ur mouth
shut.. and dont accuse innocent people...
Thanks for opening my eyes to the crimes online. I will probably never
trade online again. All because of you. >>
...i doubt that that is true... if u had two experiences and one was
bad.. and one was good.. only an idiot would expect the next one
to be bad...
there was no crime.. and u know it...
if u sent me a money order.. and i got it.. and cashed it.. then
i would be happy to send ur tape.. to u... i have no problem with
that at all whatsoever...
