Wow, this is unbelievable. I sent the mail registered from Canada to
Glen. This would mean that Glen or somebody at his address would have to
sign for the package. I instructed Canada Post to initate a trace on my
package to confirm. And this is what they found:
The package was delivered on Feb. 19, 98. In fact, you weren't home
intially when the package arrived, and UPS had to redeliver the package,
which was signed by Kristy Hyatt. I have a copy of her signature RIGHT
HERE. This means that I caught you in the lie! If anybody wants a copy of
this letter, just email me. I'm willing to send copies of this letter at
my expense. Barbara, you want proof that Glen's a liar, I got it right
here. If you want me to send you a copy, just email me your address.
As for the nothing in the package, that's totally ridiculous. Yeah, I
would spend more money to send you an empty package. Get real! Also, you
requested that I send first. How could I rip you off when I'm sending
first??
Barbara, if you want to see my refs, you got it. Just say the word.

I just thought of something, Glen. If she never signed for anything,
then how did I get her name? Pulled it out of thin air?
BTW folks, this letter that I have is signed by a representative of
Canada Post (quebec division) with her name and phone number.

Then show it to the world. I'm willing to do it. Why don't you?

I don't have the right? What's that supposed to mean? If she can provide
proof that she's a good trader, I'll certainly apologize publicly. And I'm
willing to send her a list of my refs to prove that I'm not some person
with too much time on my hands. My beef is with you, not her. People make
mistakes, and I'm willing to make amends. Let me reiterate that my sole
goal from all this is to warn people about you, not her.

she shouldnt have to.... thats all....
one neednt defend themself ahead of time...
she did nothing wrong...
u are wrong for posting negative things about her...
i think everyone knows what ur doing...
u got kristys name from me from out weeks and weeks of
talking in email... privately... thats how u got it..
u were going to send a check.. etc.. and i wanted u to make
it payable to her...
and i agreed to a trade done at the same time with u..
thats how u can rip me off...
if i send at the same time.. its a bit too late to do much about it
after what i sent is gone... when i find that i was ripped off..
no more postings.. will be responded to....
no one should have to endure this garbage...
or prove themselves to u... especially someone u dont know...

Is all this conversation about people ripping people off a topic for Trade
or Chat? And whatever the answer, could we keep the "over"-quoting to a
minimum, please?

Subject: (TrekTrade) one bad trade?
- -> its amazing.. how i can have one bad trade with someone...
- -> and it gets blown all out of proportion....
How can you say one bad trade? You stole money from me. I have every
single one of our emails back and forth saved on my hard drive -- I
*know* what went on between us. My original posting was asking if
anyone had any StarGate cards available. I had a couple responses ...
One of those was from you, and you also sent me a list of other things
you had, including the nine inch nails bootleg video. As I told you, I
was ordering it for a friend's birthday the next week. I asked you how
much it would be, and you replied that it would be $20 plus postage ...
I made it $25, so you could send it by 2-day mail. I mailed the money
to you on April 14th.
In the two weeks that followed, your emails varied from saying you never
received it, to you received it and were sending out my video, to you
had already sent the video, and then the last one turned around and said
you had never received it. When I questioned this - after you'd already
admitted you'd received my money - you never responded.
I sent you another email early this week, basically asking how you
could live with yourself after breaking that young boy's heart?
I've only made 2 trades since I've been on email. One was with Jeff,
for the StarGate cards. Within a week of my mailing the money order, I
had 7 sets of cards at my doorstep waiting for me.
The other was with you. It's been nearly 2 months.
You hurt me, you hurt my friend, and you hurt everyone here, by not
being honest.
I guess I'll never get what I paid for ... I only make one request.
Next time you screw someone over, at least do the courtesy of asking
first.
Thanks for opening my eyes to the crimes online. I will probably never
trade online again. All because of you.
