Glad you asked JEFF! I spoke to Fleebox today and they said that they
did not receive there shipment in from there supplier yet. They expect
to be shipping DS9 Golden Moments to there costumers in 2-3 Weeks.
The 3 Costumer service reps that I spoke to were all unusually friendly
and helpful today. It might be a good day to call them for the stuff you
need. All the TOS3 commons i wanted are being mailed my way!! And that
missing auto from season 7 is in the mail too. :-)
I hope the rest of the day goes like this.

Have the contents of the set, the fan selected cards, been announced?

The thought that the sets would actually release in September never occurred
to me, I went into it assuming it would be delayed...;)
Course my opinion on how the whole thing was handled would be another story
altogether

When I spoke to skybox today it never occured to me to ask which 9 cards
were selected. Who knows, They probibaly had them picked out before the
ballots were ever printed.

1. paying for sets in advance, months in advance with no guarantee you will
get the product
2. Limit the number of sets, but do't limit the number any one buyer can
get....so one person sucks up all the sets and makes a monopoly.
I LOVED the idea of a fan voted set, I didn't like how this one was carried
out.

Oh Man, This reminds me of Lift Off cards. Circa 1993-4, I seen a
magizine offer for some space cards to be released. You were to pay for
them in advance. around $30 as i recall. They sent you an unnumbered
promo card in the meen time. Mine was bent in half when i got it. A year
later still no set. So I did some research and called them. I found out
the business went out of bussiness, Or bankrupt, Or some other kind of
excuse i dont remember. I never got my money back But they did mail me a
9 card promo set as compensation.. Doh!! I think i,v seen the set in a
price guide for around $50 now?

As my sister would say. That sucks purple veiny moose (Edited). :o
I agree there should be a limit on the number of sets any one person or
dealer can get. I myself am only getting one set. It would of been nice
to get 2 or more. I could of traded or sold them later. But that meens 1
or more honest collectors would not be getting a set at cost. So i didnt
do it.

I'm really glad you keep your eye open for these Lynne because they are
hilarious! Can't remember the details too well but someone was trying to
sell a Leonard Nimoy autographed photo for about six thousand dollars. I
doubt it became a hot item.

$6000!!! Awesome...;) I doubt $600 would even cut it now...;)
One of these days someone on this list is gonna be the person I am picking
on and then boy will I feel bad...;)
Still, this one was especially funny.

I check Nimoy and Spock, with extra attention to photos, every morning and I
never saw the $6000 photo, sounds like an urban myth to me. However, for a
$5 bid you can buy a piece of gum Shatner chewed, or so says the seller.

I thought it was a Shatner photo going for nearly $6,000, and not even
autographed. It looked to me like a ploy to get your attention so you would click

Hmmm... seems like others are jumping on the bandwagon. I have a bottle of
spring water Mira Furlan (Delenn from Babylon5) was drinking at a Valley
Forge con. The only proof I have is a photo of her at the autograph table
with the bottle next to her. A friend has a (china) coffee cup and a
plastic drinking glass, both of which were used by Patrick Stewart; the
first at a Charity dinner she attended, the second at the podium of a con
she attended. For her, the authentication doesn't matter, because she
knows they're legit and will never sell them. For me, someday, I'll have
to find an expert in "half-full spring water bottles"<G>.

I dunno, if I saw a tittle that said Shatner or Nimoy photo for $6000, I
wouldn't click on the auction for more info, let alone another link...;)

Well, I got the new Trek stamp, it is really pretty and though I don't
collect stamps, I would keep this one, BUT I was terribly disappointed when
I discovered they are part of a set and I can't just go in and get a roll of
'em. I wanted to put them on all my letters.

I got the Hallmark ST stamp ornament last night. Pretty nice and elegant;
the stamp is reproduced on a white (porcelin?) square, mounted on a silver
snowflake (vulcan gong?). At $10, it's the best bargain of this year's
ornaments.

Who here collects sell sheets?
I do not, except for those sell sheets released around the time SkyBox
didn't do promos. A few sell sheets show the promos HAD they been made. I
kept those!
I usually offer new sell sheets if I get them for the cost of postage,
though if they're older or left over after several months, I'll sell. But,
have had no urge to add them. Though I don't do wrappers or boxes either...

I bought the mini (3/4 size) lunchbox too. It's got cool retro 60's style
ST illustrations - think Whitman comics etc. The only problem is that
it's NOT a replica of any real lunchbox but is only characteristic of a
period piece.

Yeah, when I first heard, I thought they might do the early 60's lunch

Like Lynne, I started collecting the sell sheets when they were not doing
promos, but now that I started, I seem unable to break the habit, so I continue
to collect them.

I received a small number of promos from SkyBox today. Because I was not
able to get as large a supply as I usually do, I would like to limit
requests to overseas collectors only. SlyBox has said they will send a
promo (one per customer),so for US collectors, please send a SASE to:
SkyBox Collector Support
1120 Route 73
Executive Plaza, Suite 300
Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054
That should take care of everybody. Be sure and tell them I sent ya...;)
That'll make them either love for the business or hate me for the extra
work...;)
Overseas collectors, holler at me, if interested!

Yes, I had learned this a few months ago when I started asking questions
about the "60's" stamps in the series. Very disappointing that we can't
get lots of them at once without the others. At least, when you buy the
sheet, you're not paying a LOT of extra money per stamp. Also, in case
anyone is interested, Hallmark is putting out a Xmas ornament that has the
stap trapped inside it.

Yes, it's not a repro, but the graphics are a LOT like the original box,
which I have several pix of from every angle (thanx to several people
selling it on eBay - for up to $800 - $1000). Considering its value,

Subject: (TrekChat) eBay Feedback
Date: 14 Oct 1999 00:04:04 +0000
I've just had an experience with eBay feedback which I consider to be
unfair.
I won an item - a Voyager signed press kit - for about $300. I
certainly wouldn't have paid any more for it. Anyway, it arrived here in
the UK in a damaged condition. It had only been posted in a padded
envelope with cardboard covering only half the press kit. In my view that
is not acceptable packaging for trans-Atlantic postage, I wouldn't even
send anything like that by ordinary mail.
So I posted a neutral feedback (could have been -ve but wasn't), saying
prompt service shame about the packaging. This company then left me a
neutral feedback saying it wasn't their fault it was the post office's
(which it wasn't). This is my first non-positive feedback ever and raises
a couple of points:
1. Can we leave anything other than +feedback, or else just get the same
back, even if we pay promptly and fairly?
2. What has a justification for their lack of service got to do with my
feedback rating anyway? There is a slot to respond to feedback
elsewhere.
Sorry for going on, it just seems a bit unfair to me.

Technically, you shouldnt. A transaction can have a good bidder and a bad
seller or visa versa. Problem is getting both parties to honestly report
their opinions without ruffled feathers.

It shouldn't. If they did not pack it properly, people need to know so they
can request better shipping or insurance or something. THe seller needs to
be nudged as well, to make sure they understood it wouldn't work. Packaging
collectibles is a vital issue fr us We want mint stuff. Anyone who doesn't
get that part is someone we dont' want to spend money on. (not that
accident's don't happen, they do. Not all my stuff has arrived safely!
In my opinion, for whatever that is worth, is that it would depend on what
steps were taken to resolve the issue PRIOR to the posting of the feedback
.Was this their first indication of a problem? Did they refund your payment
or if they didnt' why not? How much was paid for shipping? I don't think
the feedback forum should be the parties first indication of a problem.

Feedback wars suck. I learned my lesson early on. I Even got one person
kicked off eBay because of it. :) I try to avoid negitive feedback thing
with a little common sense. If it's expensive and far away, Dont bid on
it. Chance are it will get mangled in the mail. If you never hear from
someone for a month call them on the phone. If you get little or no
responce from them within 30 days then i leave NEGITIVE feedback. I do
this on the 30th day from end of auction. I,v done it about half dozzon
times now.
We all like our items to arrive as mint as when they left there previous
owners. So far i,m batting 1000 in this game. Nothing i,v shiped has
ever been damaged. I use Oversized boxes for everyhing I ship. Leaving
no room for chance. I,ll even use a box in a box for the expensive
stuff. I dont ever want to get that email saying there stuff got
damaged.. I dont ever want to give someone there money back either. ;)
As for Arif's situation. If Your not happy with it send the item back
for refund. Insist on it if necessary. I,v done this dozzons of times.
It's amazing how many people there are that have no clue on how to ship
ANYTHING! A bunch of idiots if ya ask me. Most people are sorry and send
back your money no problem, after they recive the item back of cource.
Only 2-3 times I have had people tell me to keep the item and sent me
back a refund too. It's all in how you present yourself.
I,v never been put into a position to leave a neutral feedback. It's
either Good, Or bad.

It's a good point. Actually I did send them an e-mail first but almost a
week later there was still no response. Hence my action. Incidentally
the reason it was neutral and not negative, was because other parts of the
service were fine ie, speed of delivery and e-mails.

That brings up to a whole other issue...are you due your money back? Did
they offer? I feel that it is my job to make sure the product gets their
safely and to package it, but I think it's the buyers to pay for it. Some
products I make a tidy profit on, so the cost of replacement, if needed,
would just mean I lose my profit. Other things, the profit margin is so
tight that a lost package would really hurt. I don't overcharge for
shipping. everyone gets charged exact shipping. I COULD however, set a rate,
include a handling fee and overcharge for shipping. I prefer the approach of
keeping prices fair, but covering my shipping expenses.
But, overseas presents a while other issue. Most overseas customers want no
insurance and little declared value. I believe, then, and state it, that the
onus is on the collector and if lost so be it. I will do my part and pack
well and ship. some overseas customers will want you to carry the risk. I
don't know that that is fair, they win both ways and I could lose big time.
As agreeable as I'd like to be, I tend to shy away from that.

Basically I agree with everything you just said. My own view is this, if
an overseas customer (and I am one) request no insurance then they must
carry the can for that. That's the gamble's that's taken...it's not your
problem.
On this particular item, I requested a value of $100 rather than $300. So
in theory if I was to ask for my money back, I should only expect $100.
But it's more complicated by the fact that it's the seller's fault for the
damage - not mine, not the post office. So should this person owe me the
full whack or only $100? I think it's the full $300 (in theory) because
when you think about it, insurance doesn't come into this example.

Hi
Have you ever noticed that there's a few items which you really
want to find. But when and if you get one of them, there's always
something else you need?
I'm hoping to clinch a deal to buy one of my top wants - a hardcover novel
of TMP limited to 500 and signed and numbered by Gene Roddenberry. I just
hope it works out, no guarantees yet.
Anyway, I was just curious what each of us have as their top three wanted
items. They're likely to be difficult to find but try and make them at
least possible that one day it could happen. In other words Captain
Kirk's bridge chair is out.
My top 3 is:
1. A unopened box of 1969 A+BC cards.
2. The advance press kit brochure for TNG complete, boxed with T-shirt.
3. Kevin Francis toby jug of "Data", narrowly beating a Mego Romulan.
I hope my list's based on reality but as Uhura put it, "This isn't
reality, this is fantasy."
So what are yours?

In theory, insurance covers only those items packed well. So, far I haven't
addressed the issue of a rejected claim. (I had one I thought for SURE they
wouldn't pay, uncut sheet protected with two sheets of paper towels!!!!!,
but they paid so I didn't get to test the idea that the seller would have to
pay me if the USPS said no )If not packed well, then (in theory) you should
get $300 since they didn't do their part, in reality they can claim, that
they should only be out $100. I would be hard pressed to argue either
stance. but if I had to pick, I'd say you were due the full $300.
There's somebody here (he knows who he is :kiss kiss: )with strict rules of
how something is to be shipped, rules that to the unawares may seem
outlandish, but by dippy, after a few years, I agree....;) If you get
insurance or not, it remains my job as an honorable seller to pack well.

I agree that it's always the seller's responsibility to pack well, no
matter what, but if the buyer only wants the item insured for $100. that's
all anybody should be responsible for, IMO. I mean, why would the buyer
only want to pay for $100 if they really want $300-worth of insurance? If
you expect to get a $300 refund, then you actually want to be covered for
$300, right? If you want to be coivered for $300, then pay for $300.
What's the difference in cost, about $5? You don't wanna pay the extra $5,
but you want the seller to cough up an extra $200? Sorry, not fair, IMO.

Bear in mind, in this scenario, the package has been undervalued for the
purposes of the customs form. A full value of $300, gets you taxed at $300
(in some countries as high as 27% of the value). It was not undervalued to
avoid paying insurance fees.
The bigger question is does the fact proper care was not taken mean if the
insurance doesn't cover it because it wasn't packed well should the seller
have to pay it himself and if he didn't do all he could do, an the insurance
is voided, does he owe the whole cost or just the now no-good insured cost?

Hi. I collect most things ST (Toys, books, comics, cards, etc), so I
can't limit it to just three items and keep it balanced. Some items
are more obtainable than others I guess:
1 - mission to Gamma VI playset MIB
2 - Kirk skydiving parachutist action figure by AHI
2 - six trading cards from the Starfleet collection of ST videos
3 - lunchboxes - TOS and TMP
4 - the book "Star Trek" by James Lely

I've been avoiuding this thread because I just can't narrow it to 3. Now,
I see I don't have to<G>.
1) Any authentic piece of the set or a costume or prop from TOS. I
probably already told the story of how I was "this" close to a piece of the
original bridge at a recent charity auction and lost it by $25. I've vowed
that such a thing will never happen again.
2) STTMP 3.75" Zaranite AF, preferably MOC
3) TOS lighted Enterprise in the first- or second-version box
4) Pair of boots for the Mego "Talos" figure
5) Mego Romulan and Mugato
6) MINT copy of TVGuide # 764 (Nov 18, 1967)
7) Japanese Enterprise toy with a propeller on it
I know this thread was not supposed to give us a chance to brag, but I've
managed to locate:
Kirk & Spock skydiving parachutist action figures by AHI
STTMP lunchbox in VF+ condition
The first Gold Key Trek comic
They were three of the highest things on my want list ALL were found on
eBay!!

I actually was 'this close' to my original tribble dream. One went up on
Ebay, the guy wanted, like 2000, for it, but was willing to take $200 a
month, really fair deal, I thought, but I couldn't make myself do it. I'm
trying to think what is the highest price I paid for one thing.....James
paid $1500 for the Leaf set he bought me, that's likely the most paid, but
break it down per card and it isn't so bad...;)
I suppose on a per card basis, it was the Brent SPiner auto card form FC...I
paid a bit over $600 for that (and we wont' talk about te $225 offer I
turned down at the time it first came out...waaaaaaa) Sometimes I think I'm
nuts, but then I think, oh well...;) It's not like i have any other
vices.....no smoking drinking or chasing the men.....

And also packages under $100 tend not to be taxed at all. So its actually
the difference between paying nothing or paying $75 extra on a $300
package.
Also I can't see what insurance has to do with this particular package
anyway. Is the insurance company/post office supposed to pay because the
seller couldn't be bothered to pack it properly?

Something to consider. If you request action, the seller will have to
justify their position.

Everyone has this different lines they draw in the sand. I have drawn my
line, though if I looked at every card I had, there were some that don't fit
in that rule that I shouldn't have gone after, but it's real easy to turn
away from the ones that might get pricey...;)

I didn't realize the tax was so great, but still, if the buyer willingly
refuses to buy the insurance, then he should accept the consequences if the
seller is careless. I'm no fan of the concept of insurance in general, but
in this case, it's the primary protection. Once you decide you don't want
the protection, you have to realize you're unprotected.

Don't know for sure on this, but I believe that the PO would pay, despite
the poor packing job. At least that's the way it seems to go with a
package being mailed between 2 US addresses. Since this one involved 2
different postal systems, there might have been a big todo as to whose
fault the damage was.
Here's my "damaged parcel" story: I won an eBay auction for a 9" Captain
Kirk figure (I think it was the "Mirror, Mirror" one) that was describes as
MIMB. When it arrived, the box was crushed, apparently because the seller
put it in another box that was just barely big enough to hold it; when the
outer box got crushed, so did the inner one. I had cosen NOT to get
insurance, as I had always had good luck sending a LONG paragraph of
instructions along with my payment, asking for certain care in packaging.
This guy either didn't bother to read it or just idn't care. Anyway, when
I wrote him about it, he said that, for all he knew, I crushed the box
because I changed my mind about wanting the item. He wouldn't reimburse me
for the shipping in either direction, only the actual selling price of the
figure. What a jerk!

Hi, Mark,
Well, then, they're figurines; noarticulation and no actual fabric clothing
(unless you count the parachutes), but they're really old and really cute!
Having seen them in "Trek Collecting" mags and vbooks for years, I just
hadda have 'em. Think of me as being to general Trek collecting just as
obsessed as Lynne is with Trek cards<G>.
Also, I think it was Ben that made reference to a book called simply, "Star
Trek" written by someone named "James Lely". I thought you'd all like to
know that Amazon.Com is searching for it right now. I'll let you know if
anything turns up.

Actually, I've gone the Amazon route looking for the Lely book STAR TREK.
They will take the order but politely tell you in several weeks that they
cannot find it.
The best online source I've found for out-of-print books is the metasearch
site www.bookfinder.com . It searches Amazon, Bibliofind, and other book
sites. A copy of the Lely book was just listed, but I don't think it's
worth the $20 asking price in ex-lib condition.
(The Lely book is not anything special. It's part of a children's
TV/movie tie-in series (SW, Battlestar Galactica, etc) which explains ST.
I've borrowed it from my library system, but want a copy mostly because I
don't have one yet!)

In case you haven't spotted it, there is an empty box of A+BC cards being
sold on eBay. Nothing at all to do with me but I thought you might be

Hi Everybody,
I have a situation where there is a bidder bidding on one of my items
who has ZERO feedback. He's got 1 Pos And 1 neg. The neg is from someone
who had the same item for sale and didnt get paid on it. And the Pos is
from someone i,v done business with before. Needless to say i,m a bit
concerened here. It's alot of money.
In eBays rules it states I can cancel this users bid. IF:
a. Bidder contacts you to back out of the bid.
b. You cannot verify the identity of the bidder, after trying all
reasonable means of contact.
c. You want to end your auction early because you no longer want to sell
your item. In this case you must cancel all bids on your auction before
ending the auction.
OK, So my question is what is reasonable means of contact? How do I
verify the identity of the bidder? Am I going to make a Long distance
call to Australia? Ieee dont think so.. I'v sent this person an email
asking for an explaination refering to the neg feedback. And an
Aproximation of what shipping cost would cost him. Air mail and Surface
mail. It's almost been 24Hs and No responce yet. What should I do? What
can I do?
Jeff

I'm not sure what that means, that this guy won the other auctionne, but
didn't pay for it, and turned aroudn and bid on soembody else's auction?
Guess he liked the second price better...;)

My feeling is, as the seller, you hold all the cards and I don't see why
you(anyone) would cancel a bid unless the feedbackwas pretty extreme. I
mean, worse case scenario, he doesn't pay for it. You can get your fees back
form ebay (most of it it), but the items stays with you, so you can't lose
that and you can offer it to the second highest bidder.
Seller feedback is important to me, bidder feedback doesn't bend me out of
shape too bad. COurse I don't get bent if i dont' get paid either, I just
plod along to the next tranaction. It tends to take care of itse'f in the
long ron (ask me how I turned an A59 Nimoy card into a Shatner A1 sold at
$585, a Nimoy card sold at $250 and a Q auto sold at $35.....:giggle:)
Reasonable contact wuldhave to be longer then 24 hours. Not taking into
account the time differential in Australian and the fact that not everyone
is as net obsessed as us...;)

Ahhh... Lynne, Time is the same on the other side of the planet. It
doesnt go any faster or any slower as it does on this side. :o
hehehehe.. ;)
I waited over 72 Hrs for a responce and at that point I didnt get any.
So I canceled the bid. But at the 4 day mark I did get an email from
them and the excuses were pretty lame.
I got some tips from eBay I,d like to share too.
Hello Jeff,
Thank you for your question about cancelling a bid. There are a couple
of things that you can remember about your auction. You are well within
your rights to cancel a bid that you don't feel comfortable with,
especially if you don't believe that the bidder will honor their bid.
Below are a few steps that you can take to assure a successful auction
experience in the future.
1. You may want to consider adding to your listing that you aren't
accepting bids from users who have a pattern of negative feedback.
Specify what you consider to be excessive, such as users with 5 negative
feedback comments in the last month, for an example.
2. Follow through with that specification. Check the feedback profile
of the bidders on your auctions. This will give you an idea of the type
of user you are planning to conduct business with.
3. If you find that a user who you feel is not qualified to bid on your
auctions (based on the standards you posted in your listing) or a user
that you are not comfortable dealing with has bid on your auction, you
may want to consider cancelling their bid from your auction. The URL
for this is listed below for your reference. Please consider emailing
the user first before cancelling the bid to get their side of the
situation. There may be a legitimate reason why the bidder didn't
follow though on some bids, ie, family emergency, illness, etc.
http://pages.ebay.com/services/buyandsell/seller-cancel-bid.html
4. If you find that after corresponding with the user that you do in
fact want to cancel their bid, please email them afterward letting them
know that you have cancelled their bid and let them know that you will
not be accepting their bids on your auctions in the future. Save a copy
of this email for your records.
5. After notifying the user to not bid on your auctions in the future,
if that user bids again on that auction or another, please forward a
copy of the email that you sent to the user with a brief explanation of
the situation and the item number of the auction they are currently a
bidder on to safeharbor@ebay.com.
These are all things that you can do to safeguard yourself and assure a
pleasant transaction with your winning bidder. We wish you continued
success and many happy transactions in the future.

SImple, traded a Nimoy for an A1 Shatner. Sodl the A1 Shatner for $500,
bidder decided not to get the card after a few weeks and in appology send me
the Q auto and the Nimoy auto(I still dunno why they didn't just sell the
cards to pay off the Shatner and i was really embarressed when the cards
came in the mail) Sold the two cards and then later sodl the Shatner for
$585. It's was a funky deal...;)

Yeah, yeah, but if you send an email in YOUR daytime when it's THEIR
nighttime, it doesn't count against them not to reply! The clock won't start
ticking until their first daytime.

I don't know about the overall problem. But really you have to give
someone more than 24 hours to contact you. Sometimes I only log on twice
a week!

Bummer, when our piggy banks get in the way of our wishes.
I passed on the A and BC box, it was tempting, I have a Leaf box, but it
really isn't in my 'collecting list", I don't do the wrapper, boxes and
packs, but still it isn't often seen and I thought it would go for more then
$355!!

While I would expect someone who's active in auctions to normally log on
more often than that, I'd agree that a LOT more than 24 hours is
appropriate. Depending on what the situation is, I usually make 3 attempts
to eMail someone (I add "resend #2, #3, etc" to the subject so both they
and I know how hard I'm trying) and, unless time is limited, I wait 2 weeks
or more after the last eMail before I try other action. Obviously, if you
have the option to relist an iem or sell it to the second highest biddere,
then you might want to wrap things up sooner, but the key is to realize
that people have lives and for some of them, the auction isn't priority #1.
I know it's sick, but it's the truth<G>!
Remind me to post the last few emails between me and a renigging bidder
from my last sale on eBay; what a rude, ignorant person!

What do you do?
Your auction has ended for your Klingon knife and TNG Tricorder.. You
email the AOL person of the winnings but it bounces back as a
Dead/invalid email address. (the user doesnt exist). You emailed
everyone else that has this bidder as a winner in there auctions and
there having the same problem. Your next step is a eBay User Information
Request. You call there phone number and you get a recording saying
"Your wireless coustumer is out of range". So at this point you notified
eBay of this situation and they inturn Suspend there registration.
Do you:
a. "Wait" till the winner corrects there registration and contacts you?
b. Offer the item to the next highest bidder ASAP?

And the answer is d.
If the bidder's been suspended, You have no obligation to complete the
transaction. You can go on to the next bidder and make an offer, but the
next bidder has no obligation to accept my offer. you can also request a
final value fee refund from eBay, and re-list the item.
Ya like it when you answer your own questions hu?

Hehe, so what do you need US for<G>? =20
I just thought of another related issue; once eBay suspends this person's
registration, you're unable to warn other sellers about him/her because
their userID is no longer valid (althouh, with how easy it is to change
your AOL username, that's pretty useless, anyway).
How many of us, as sellers, check a bidder's feedback before assuming
they'll complete a deal? Personally, I NEVER check a bidder's feedback
until I'm getting ready to post negative on them, myself. I wonder if this
might prepare us for a bad situation if we checked them out as they bid?

Will eBay allow me to refuse bids from anyone with an eBay address? I have

Given the items involved, I'd contact the 2nd highest bidder, let them know
what's going on and ask if they might want the items IF you're unable to
get satisfaction from the winner by a certain date. At least you'll know
whether you should plan to relist or not. I'd also ask eBay how long you
can wait and still get a free relisting.
We're good people (and many of us are cute, too!), so why do these kinds of
things keep happening to us?

I'm not certain, but I think it went for $500? Which is actually a little
less than I expected. But then it wasn't in great shape, and I want a
full one anyway !!! (as if...) Generally I don't do the wrapper etc thing
either. But sometimes I get a full box if the artwork's nice or it's a
special case ie A+BC.

I think that would be decrimination. But I did recieve a few steps that
you can take to assure a successful auction experience in the future. I
got them from eBays safeharbor.

The person in question had 1 pos and 1 neg. Giving them an overall
rating of O at the time. The pos came from someone we know. I emailed
him and he admited grief from the bidder. It Took them 2 months to pay.
As of yesterday this bidder has a -2 rating. And it wasnt caused by me.
I,m GLAD I canceled his bid. It's A wonderful option eBay gives us
sellers.

This has been the worst experianced auction i,v run so far. I have 4
items with idiots for winners. I was checking feedback too as the
auctions were running. I didn't pickup any indications of loosers except
for the one.. In the end a winner of 2 of my items has been suspended. I
found a buyer for 1 of those items, A Local person too. I was happy
about that. 1 other winner refused the item because of overseas mailing
costs. Well DAH! Your suppose to be asking these questions before you
bid. This person has admited to me of refusing items before too. I will
be leaving him negitive feedback on tuesday.
Did you know this about Non-Paying Bidders - Effective 3/1/99?
Defined as bidders who win an auction but never follow through with the
transaction..
Upon receiving a credit request from a seller for non-payment by the
bidder, eBay will automatically send a warning email to the user accused
of bidding and not paying. The user will receive two warnings before
suspension. On the third instance, the user will be suspended for 30
days. A fourth offense will result in indefinite suspension from eBay.
The warnings and suspensions are issued automatically when a seller
requests the credit.
Snip
You'll see this bidder loose there registration soon.
