YAHOO!!! I just got offline with Ticketmaster.com. Let me give some advice here, don't go for 2 or more tickts, go for 1!!! I started out with 2 and never got closer than 30 or so rows back, and then decided to try for 1 ticket. I know that is a little sad, but I would see Sting no matter what!! After about 10 minutes of the system searching for tickets, I finally got THE ticket!! I started out first section, back row. And made it to FIRST ROW!!!! I'm so excited. I'm sitting in the middle section, row A. Of course, there is PIT (VIP) seating in front of me. But, that's OK!!! I'm so excited!! I think this seat is right in front of Dominic, so you know I'll be happy!!!
Now, if I can get back to work!!
Laters!!

Sorry to hear about your Ticketmaster problems. I can relate!! In order to get the great seats, you have to order season tickets too. I inquired about that last week for the Columbus show. I tell ya!! The fan club really needs to help us Americans out!!

Last night I purchased the Dolphins Soundtrack and I thought I'd give you a couple of quick thoughts since no one else has said anything.
The opening track is the Sting penned "I Need You Like This Hole In My Head." The track is best described as a calypso influenced pop song in the spirit of Jimmy Buffett and Disney's Little Mermaid (which isn't to say that the song sounds juvenille at all). It is short - about 2:40. No one plays on the song who most of us would be familiar with. I liked it - it is pretty light. Steel Drums and strumming guitars.
The rest of the cd I could take or leave. The rest of the songs are instrumentals and a few tracks from BND (ghost story, fill her up). About 60% of the songs are inspired by Sting music and sound much like muzak versions of Sting songs with a little artistic liberty. The best songs on the cd (other than the first track of course) are the original songs done by the band - not the Sting influenced ones.
My $ .02 -

Just read this in USA Today: Teri Hatcher will be in a new film called "Spy Kids" playing...well...a spy named Miss Gradenko. Wouldn't it be funny if Stewart did the soundtrack?

I should have checked TM's website closer....it says "Internet Onsale: Saturday, May 20, 2000, 10:00AM". Does it say that for all concerts or does that mean the onsale date is different for outlet sales?

I should have stayed out of the argument involving the BSB, etc, but since I didn't (regretfully), I definitely should not have used the list to do so. I apologize.

Anyone else notice that Lenny Kravitz' latest single, "I Belong to You" starts out just like Sting and Eric Clapton's version of "It's Probably Me?" They have a similar bass line with a counterpoint -- for Kravitz, a piano; for Sting the flick of a lighter. Every time I hear Kravitz' song on the radio I start singing "The world's gone crazy..."
Who wrote the music for "It's Probably Me," the movie version?

Tickets do go onsale this morning at 10 am through, guess who!! Ticketmaster finally got the info up on the site late yesterday. Anyone going? I'll see what tickets I pull up and then I'll see if I am going.

Christina, I just bought tickets off eBay for the Columbus show last night. I paid $255.00 for 2 tickets. So, it's like going to a ticket broker. You will pay the big bucks going through eBay or a broker. These seats are 7th row, center. I couldn't pass these up!! I just moved up 20 rows from the tickets that I got less than 5 minutes after they went onsale. I even got those tickets at the venue. So, if anyone is interested in tickets for Columbus, let me know. My extra tickets are left side (Dominic's side), row AA.
Another suggestion on tickets, if you are going through Ticketmaster, then you can keep checking back and see what tickets are available through ticketmaster.com. I have had great experiences within weeks of the show, that excellent seats show up.
FYI-tickets for Cleveland have been VERY slow selling. I was still pulling up seats within in the first 10 rows about 2 hours after they went onsale. That is 2 tickets, not 1!!!

Apparently Sting wrote this. It's listed under the MF section of "Sting - The Complete Lyrics" that I ordered from the Compaq website. The phrase "brand new day" isn't part of the lyric. If anybody is interested, I'll be happy to put the lyric up on the mailer.

Efrain,
I brought this up sometime last summer, but nobody responded to my post.
Does anybody know more about BaDM? Did Sting write it? When?

It looks as if they might run the DR Jag ad a lot during the Preakness (ABC-now) like they did last Saturday during the Kentucky Derby. I also just heard the opening notes of ATRHF during a pre-race bit. During the KD pre-race show, I heard ATY.
