  164. some respects. It's really interesting to see what he posts and it also makes

  167. In an ideal world, Nader would drop out. However, it's not going to happen. 
  168. I'm dreading this election. I've been on like everyone I know lately to vote, 
  169. spreading my "Vote for Gore" propoganda everywhere (and insome instances 
  170. which is totaly *not like me, anti-Bush propaganda)
  171. Maybe I should flee to Canada for 4-8 years after the election. Maybe that 
  172. way I could be come a citizen and get health insurance for the first time in 
  173. my life. =P

  404.  think that was probably more along the lines of what Darcy was referring=

  462. what the hell is with these posts lately? i mean, come on ppl, get a grip.
  463. the way this list has gotten lately has already driven off a lot of ppl,
  464. and i know some major members may call it quits based on this recent crap.
  465. i'm just pretty baffled myself. is it just that a new wave of people who
  466. have no idea what they're doing here have overrun the list? or are there
  467. just a bunch of you that really hate moby and have decided to strike out
  468. by dragging down this list?

  470. so here's some usefull information in a post like posts should be:

  472. * there's rumors of a japanese 3" cd single with a porcelain remix and a
  473. couple natural blues remixes (i think that's what was said to be on
  474. it). i've ordered a copy, so we'll see what happens.
  475. * i'm currently working on a huge searchable database based on the  
  476. songlist and discography, and if all goes well it's be functional with
  477. album cover links and links to every single song (if we can track down
  478. the last handfull we're missing). watch for that on mobymusic.com, but
  479. don't hold yer breath 'cause there's still a ton of work to be done on it.
  480. * i've seen "porno", it's a great movie, moby has a few different rolls in
  481. it. it was all fairly tastefully done, and had some pro-animal-rights
  482. stuff thrown in, so i don't see what the hell moby's problem wiht paul
  483. over it is, but i don't have too many details on that fiasco, so
  484. whatever. the way things have been lately i'm thinking of shifting my
  485. obsession over to paul. :P

I'm sorry if it sounded a bit harsh.  I just don't get it when people want big government to take care of them.  I myself would rather have the freedom to choose what I wanted and not have to accept what the government thought was good for me.  I have decent healthcare that is affordable and realistic.  My job isn't high profile
  521. or high paying.  But anyway..this has nothing to do with Moby or his music..so it is off topic..sorry for replying to Darcy's message.  She's a nice person and a great contributor to this list.  I will go back to lurking.  :-)

  582. As far as health issuance goes..
  583. I am a full time student. I choose to be that way so I can hurry up and 
  584. finish a degree so I can have a career I can be happy doing rather than 
  585. slaving away at a job that I hate the rest of my life just so I can be 
  586. financially secure right away and have benefits.
  587. Most people cannot receive benefits without a full time job and someone like 
  588. me who takes 20+ units a full time job is not an option. So like most people 
  589. in the same situation I have to settle for a part time retail job which does 
  590. not have benefits and does not cover total living expenses (well where I live 
  591. atleast). I've chosen not to take a retail job, and have decided to put what 
  592. I am learning to use, I do custom tailoring and costuming for money. It's not 
  593. stable and it barely covers my living costs now, so now, paying for any type 
  594. of medical insurance or medical bills is totally out of the question.
  595. I'm not mad at what you had to say. I understand that some people actually do 
  596. think they shouldn't have to do anything for medical care, let alone work for 
  597. anything. 
  598. Just knowing that medical care could be a little more affordable would be 
  599. nice.
