I have 2 general admission tickets to the Worcester Palladium show on 10/23.
Does anyone have 2 tickets to the Avalon show in Boston that they would be
willing to trade? Email me privately and let me know. Thanks.

Subject: (mobility) 10/3 - St. Louis
Great show here in St. Louis; although the crowd wasn't the most of
enthusiastic people. Most people in the balconies just sat through the
whole concert.
All tickets were general admission. But in order to get into the orchestra
pit area, you had to be one of the first 300 people to ask for a special
wristband. Luckily, my friend and I got two of the last four wristbands.
Hybrid was good. I'd buy the album, but their stage presence was lacking.
Would've been cool if they were playing in a club-type venue, but this was a
concert hall...
Moby came on around 8:45 and played for about two hours. Virtually played
almost everyone off Play (including Porcelain), all of the popular stuff
from EIW, "Go" and "Next to the E", and a Bad Company cover song ("Feel Like
Making Love"). Came back out and did the acoustic version of "Porcelain"
and a gospel version of "Feeling So Real" (which then turned into the EIW
version). Came out later and did "Thousand".
Diane was amazing. And I can't believe that the dummer was from St. Louis!
(Just kidding, folks.) He also said that Greta was from Bosnia.
One interesting note is that two of the last three venues Moby has played at
have closed down. Last night's venue will be demolished next week. So in
honor of that, he asked that we all sing "Auld Lang Syne".
All in all a great show. I might rate his show at Karma last year a little
better, but it was great nonetheless.
Cheers,
Lawrence

Subject: (mobility) The drummer... AGAIN...
I know we're sick of talking about the drummer, and I
hope I'm not rehashing anything that's already been
said at some point when I wasn't paying attention, but
I just wanted to mention that I saw Moby last night in
St. Louis and when I got to see him after the show,
after the "Loved the show" etc., I asked him, "Not to
sound like a know-it-all, but where's the drummer
really from?"
Moby thought for a second and said Allentown, PA.
So there's that much. Unless he just invented another
random city. Who knows.
Justin.
(Incidentally, if anyone was at the show I went to, at
the American theatre, I was in the very front row of
the not-quite-bottom level, and my friend Beth
smuggled in orange glow sticks and she and I were
playing with them the whole night. And Moby, once
more: Loved the show.)

hey kiddies,
just a reminder that i'll be the dj at the moby/hybrid show on october
5th! please please please make lots of noise for me!
i'll be opening for an hour (so get there early!) and playing between
sets. i'll be playing a wide range of progressive house and trance, and a
few obscure moby tracks too. i have no idea where i'll be or if i'll be
approachable by the crowd, but if so, please come up and say hi and maybe
we'll get a photo of you.
i may even have a few mix cds and some of my own music to hand out.
see you there!!!

Hey all! I'm just wondering if anyone knows anything about an after the
concert party with Moby. Last year I went to see him during
campus invasion and I went to the hotel he was staying at and the owner
wouldn't let us in. There were only two of us. So I don't know if we just
didn't have the "secret code" ;) or what. I just think it'd be cool
to hang out with Moby. If anyone has any insight please email me back.
Thanks!!

geez, so there's moby-online.com and mobyonline.com??? apparently so. well
i like moby-online.com better because it actually has the tour dates right!
i'm goin to see him in columbus on 10/10 and mobyonline.com says he's gonna
be in cleveland that date, doink. mobyonline's a little too high tech for
me, i prefer the hyphenated site ;)

I just witnessed one of the greatest concerts in the history of Kansas
City...MOBY! He was great. His stage show has really matured from a year
ago. He did a cover of "The End" by the Doors. It blew my mind. Has anyone
else seen this? if so, write the list and tell me your thoughts. I
swear, when i closed my eyes, I could see the Doors on stage. he also played
the accoustic versions of a few songs(Feeling So Real, Porcelain, and
ETYTM). And he concluded the night with a mind-numbing version of Thousand,
complete with a syncronized light show. Thanks again for the best night of
my life Moby.
