  66. Great show here in St. Louis; although the crowd wasn't the most of
  67. enthusiastic people.  Most people in the balconies just sat through the
  68. whole concert.
  69.  
  70. All tickets were general admission.  But in order to get into the orchestra
  71. pit area, you had to be one of the first 300 people to ask for a special
  72. wristband.  Luckily, my friend and I got two of the last four wristbands.
  73.  
  74. Hybrid was good.  I'd buy the album, but their stage presence was lacking.
  75. Would've been cool if they were playing in a club-type venue, but this was a
  76. concert hall...
  77.  
  78. Moby came on around 8:45 and played for about two hours.  Virtually played
  79. almost everyone off Play (including Porcelain), all of the popular stuff
  80. from EIW, "Go" and "Next to the E", and a Bad Company cover song ("Feel Like
  81. Making Love").  Came back out and did the acoustic version of "Porcelain"
  82. and a gospel version of "Feeling So Real" (which then turned into the EIW
  83. version).  Came out later and did "Thousand".
  84.  
  85. Diane was amazing.  And I can't believe that the dummer was from St. Louis!
  86. (Just kidding, folks.)  He also said that Greta was from Bosnia.
  87.  
  88. One interesting note is that two of the last three venues Moby has played at
  89. have closed down.  Last night's venue will be demolished next week.  So in
  90. honor of that, he asked that we all sing "Auld Lang Syne".
  91.  
  92. All in all a great show.  I might rate his show at Karma last year a little
  93. better, but it was great nonetheless.

  108. I know we're sick of talking about the drummer, and I
  109. hope I'm not rehashing anything that's already been
  110. said at some point when I wasn't paying attention, but
  111. I just wanted to mention that I saw Moby last night in
  112. St. Louis and when I got to see him after the show,
  113. after the "Loved the show" etc., I asked him, "Not to
  114. sound like a know-it-all, but where's the drummer
  115. really from?"
  116.  
  117. Moby thought for a second and said Allentown, PA. 
  118.  
  119. So there's that much. Unless he just invented another
  120. random city. Who knows.

  125. the American theatre, I was in the very front row of
  126. the not-quite-bottom level, and my friend Beth
  127. smuggled in orange glow sticks and she and I were
  128. playing with them the whole night. And Moby, once
  129. more: Loved the show.)

  657. I just witnessed one of the greatest concerts in the history of Kansas 
  658. City...MOBY! He was great. His stage show has really matured from a year 
  659. ago. He did a cover of "The End" by the Doors. It blew my mind. Has anyone 
  660. else seen this? if so, write the list and tell me your thoughts. I 
  661. swear,when i closed my eyes, I could see the Doors on stage. he also played 
  662. the accoustic versions of a few songs(Feeling So Real, Porcelain, and 
  663. ETYTM). And he concluded the night with a mind-numbing version of Thousand, 
  664. complete with a syncronized light show. Thanks again for the best night of 
  665. my life Moby.
