Hey all-
I been recieving the list for quite some time, but never contribute. I don't know why. Anyway, I like Moby a whole lot and a think he's a pretty nice guy. I got interested when a guy in my band started playing drums for him a while back. I don't own a lot of his records, but I have seen him live about 14 times, and each time I have been quite pleased.
As for me, I'm a graphic designer in philly who always appreciated hearing about new music and new ideas. thanks for your time.
Josef

Miss Tiffany here..........
Hoorah! a thousand years after it was published, I finally manage to track
down a copy of the Moby interview in Q (a thousand years? I have told you a
MILLION times not to exaggerate!) So yeh, it was great to finally get a
read-up. Mobys friend Damian Loeb is often mentioned in interviews, and I
have a strong love of art, so I decided to see if there was anywhere I could
view his paintings. I found the "Unofficial Damian Loeb Website" and his
paintings are bloody amazing! So true to life and such detail (I think most
are done Oil on Linen) And I even stumbled across a wee
conversation/question type thingy between Damian and Moby, which is
actually quite good. I know all this has been mentioned here before, but
for those who havnt had a chance to view.....
Go Ave' a peep then!.
Thanks for all the feedback on the self-esteem topic too, nice to hear the
diff points of view from the various :)
Oh yeh, an apology for not expanding my descriptive vocabulary beyond that
of "conversation/question type thingy" I just woke up.
But in akchool real-life I have very good england ;)

Yep I like em too. I'm not extremely into art but I do like his paintings. Yeah that's a nice website. Here's some shortcuts to the Moby related sections of the site:

Subject: (mobility) keepin' scotty's secret
Hi again-
Yes, the band I am currently in, Holy Hand Grenade, features the illustrious Scott Frassetto on drums (when he's home, that is) He used to go out on tour for like four months out of the year, but now things have changed.... He's actually home right now for a week- of course I can't tell you exactly where his hometown is, in keeping with the "this is scott's hometown" tour joke. Our project is more xtc/yardbirds/who/daniel johnston oriented. I could probably send mp3s to anybody who wants to hear scott in a different context. Anyway, thanks for the warm welcome, and hope to hear from y'all soon-
