the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Moby are playing at this Rolling Rock Town
Festival in PA...august 5th...yet another beer festival....but he'll be
playing..anyone from the jersey area wanting to go..it's quite a trek and
tickets go on sale this saturday so i'm planning on making this a weekend
trip type of thing...peace..elie

Westomoreland County Fairgrounds, which happens to be about 1/2 hr from me.
I'm not sure yet where to get tix, i imagine TicketMaster is gonna sell them.
 I heard they were $33.I'm so very very excited!!!!!  If anyone else is goin,
lemme know, cuz if yer not an internet psycho, you are more than welcome to
stop by my place and fill yer bellies and freshen up.

little gerbil go too!  Other groups are way more wild, but Moby is peaceful.

The only way to protect her is with education and accepting her.  I too went
to wild raves in Europe with lots of drugs but I never did it nor was I
tempted.  I saw what you would probably think is the worst kind of behaviour
but I did none of it.  Instead I danced until so much that my body was
different the next day and I enjoyed myself.

Perhaps you should trust your daughter more.  I am sure that she is a
wonderful child and that she loves you.  If you just trust her and properly
tell her the dangers of drugs and don't try to control her 24/7 then why
would she ever do it?

From a child of  hippies  from the 60's who did lots of drugs but told their
son why not to do it and who has stayed drug free his entire life and is
still a big raver!

perfectly....but I DO LOVE her. If I came across as one who watches her
24/7...that's not the case.She's underage (was 15 at the time) and

"croaks" when the music is up. I have gone to see Moby twice. First time in
Cincy (nice sm club) with my husband. The second time in Oxford and we

Hall because,  "it's TOO cold out heeeerrre!" we were out back and met
Moby..then Gavin (by accident..I posted that earlier this month)and later on
Spinbad.A rather nice evening! But the sm club in Cincy was the best!

the good old England), Porcelain is going to be
released as a single in June (I think they said the
15th).

This will make a whopping 6 singles from the album!
There isn't many bands that can say they have released

When I was fifteen my mom would NEVER even consider letting me go to a rave.
(youre a cool mom.  I wish I had a cool mom)   Hell, I'm going to be
eighteen in May and she still wants me back by 11 every night, but I guess
that's no truely big deal.  Everyone I talked to in high school told me
raves were really fun.  Then again, they all do a lot of drugs.  That
reminds me, those rave websites were interesting.  I always used to look up
stuff like that because I worried about them a LOT sometimes...  That and I
like to read books like The Electric Kool-aid Acid Test, and Fear and
Loathing in Las Vegas.  (My boyfriend says considering the company I've kept
in the past, it's suprising how naive I am about drugs.)  I don't know if
I'll ever go to a rave, but a few people in the past (most recently my
boyfriend) have sworn to take me clubbing with them when I'm eighteen.  It's
a similar atmosphere, right?
