I am a Christian, and I don't find the ad
terribly offensive. for one moby said he did the
ads because he wants to help his record company,
who has been terribly nice to him, sell his
record, which he sees as his job. Also, he said
all the money and clothing he got for the ad he
donated to charity. As for the "Jesus Christ
Pose"... sometimes it's hard to tell the
difference between a posing like a crucifiction
and a big yawning stretch. Honestly, i've been
involved in a few photo shoots for people I've
done publicity work for, and some of the best
shots often come from an accidental exposure
during a moment that wasn't intended for the
camera. Or you could look at it as a moment of
worship, a reflection back on to the image of
christ, not to draw attention to Moby, but to
point that attention to Christ. All to say, It's
a dumb ad for a stupid jean company, with little
or no eternal consequences.

ok damn that was a long message.
first off.
give the guy a break. who cares.
you dont know why he did it. maybe he was pressured.
but still who cares. honestly i dont know why CK wants him for an ad.
So if i never knew who moby was or what he looked like, i'd just dismiss the
ad for another stupid CK ad.
Maybe he was flattered to be asked to be in an ad. Especially one that's
apocalyptic.
but big deal!
the guy is finally getting some huge mainstream recognition, let him enjoy
it.
and please no one EVER bring up 'he sold out' again. really its a waste of
time to just keep babbling about something so trivial.
does anyone know if the money from CK went to anything in particular? maybe
he donated it.. if anything the guys gonna have more money to make his
studio even better! and make more music to shoosh you upset people! :)
Oh and if you plan on burning your moby collection, before you do that,
instead put it in a box and mail it to me.

Bullshit.
Also, Moby was not in a porn movie. The title of the movie was Porno, and
it's about a sex toys store.

hello all,
question for those of you who were at the campus invasion show at the
patriot center in fairfax, va. anybody remember the exact track list? i took
my girlfriend there, it was her first real exposure to moby's music, so i'd
liek to make a mixtape for her with the exact track list of the show on it.
i know he started with "my weakness," then i think he played something from
animal rights, and after that it becomes a blur of one kick-ass show. if
anybody remembers the exact track list (or perhaps was bootlegging the
show...?) please respond away. thanks.

Subject: (mobility) chart stuff/ aphex dream!
hey folks, PLAY is number 1ne in Ireland if any1ne
cares, and its also #6ixty1ne here. but the great
chart news is Macy Gray now has a top 10en hit! "I
Try" is number 8ight! yayyyyyyy!!!
in the midst of all this negative vibe junk, i like to
be the first (or one of the first) to type a silly
happy type post. we were talking abou bad Moby
ddreams, well I had a good Aphex dream!
okay, well Aphex all of a sudden released another EP
just out of the blue, but it wasnt like made national
that it was being sold, it was a special limited type
thing, and like you had to go to this weird buolding
to get a copy early when it first came out. so i went
to this weird building, and went upstairs and i kept
seeing like these little Aphex midgets like in the
"Come To Daddy" video, like pointing "right this way!"
but not saying anything, and i get to this room and
theres like all these soap bubbles all over the floor.
and i kept going down these hallways with these little
Aphex midgets every once in a while and i got to this
room and they were selling copies of the cd for like
3hree$ each so im like rock! this kicks ass! Aphex for
rilly cheap! and there were some other interesting
details in there but i forgot what they were. and
anyway, like on the back of the cd it says theres only
3hree songs on it (not again) but if you look inside
theres actually 8ight songs, and its like 40orty
minutes long. of course the first few songs are
actually remixes by or collaborating with other people
(one by UNKLE for some reason!) and the remixes didnt
totally sound like Aphex.. i didnt get to the other
tracks in my dream ;)
and then for some reason i go visit the Pope, except
hes just dressed in regular clothes, he just talked
and acted like my grandfather basically (even tho my
grandfather is Jewish and from Poland...) and at the
end he gave me a free cd (do not at all try to ask
where the hell this dream came from!) and it was the
new Aphex i just got! so i asked for something else,
and so i got some soundtrack to some movie and it
kinda sucked but hey, it was free. he was a nice guy
too, the Pope in my dream. then again, it might have
just been my grandfather. but anyway who cares it was
all a dream, and now i'm upset because Aphex will
never put out another piece of muzik again. crap.
oh well, see ya laterz!
