Dear Erin,
Thanks, but my dad is Indian and he picked the name Kavita because it means
poetry.
I love Moby's essays, I really understand where he's coming from. I guess
we're both alike.
I know he's playing the last day of Pink Pop, june 12th in Holland.
I'm gonna be there, first row. Hope you can make it too.

From: Sarah Westheimer <westhesb@muohio.edu>
Subject: (mobility) Moby at Miami (of Ohio!)
The show at Miami of Ohio was pretty cool, I was expecting a not-too active
crowd since this is a not-too active school, and it wasn't too active, but
he played more energetic songs than I remember from seeing him last
October. The show was much better than I thought could have happened in a
basketball stadium (I saw Indigo Girls last week in a basketball stadium
and the sound was so bad), so that was cool. After he was through playing I
went out back to wait, like other people on the list said they did. Greta
came out, signed stuff, took pictures, answered some questions, she was so
nice. She took our tickets and other signable stuff and said she'd ask Moby
if he would sign them or would like to meet us... she came back out and
told us to come inside. He was talking on a cell-phone, disappeared for a
while, and came back. He talked to us a little, mostly signed things (I've
been showing EVERYONE the little idiot he drew in my planbook!), I asked if
he would write a letter to the Mobility list soon, he said his computer was
broken but would try as soon as it was fixed... just the nice, softspoken,
down-to-earth Moby I thought he would be. So that was cool, a very good
night.
Love and peace (in the words of Moby, esp. to those who love to dance till
9 in the morning!),
Sarah

Hi.
It's me Sarah, the 22 yr old pop music fan. Someone out ther was dissin'
Stroke 9 (little black back pack). Now.. I must admit that the song has
been over played, but the rest of the album, which I DO own, is very
cool. once again, i'm just voicing my opinion (and defending a band I
like). so here's my question. I like the red Hot chilli Peppers. are they
pop? or what?? in some ways they remind me of Blink 182, in others they
don't. i'm just curious.

I'd have to say that love Black Backpack and Blink is awesome! That's cool
that you don't like em but they don't bother me at all. They've been around
for a while and I don't really think they're trendy like all this other
