really getting into dance so would appreciate any info on other artists
apart from your mainstream dance found almost everywhere.

While we're speaking of other artists, anyone heard much of the new cure
'blood flowers'. I think that's what it's called. I was so disappointed
with their last one.

Hey, V2 Scott is slipping.
Moby did an interview with Daniel Loeb (?) for the latest issue of Interview
Mag. I haven't read it yet out of the desperate desire to share. Their's
even a little pic and blurb about Mobyster in the contributers section. Too
cool!

I agree, horrible mix! (for the same reasons you gave) But a lot of people
seem to like it, strange... Wasn't that guy from ATB not also in the techno
act Sequential One? I like Sequential One!

Yes, but, shit, I don't know. Just Moby is now popular for a while. I
think this is natural for fans to worry when their favorate artist
becomes mainsteam suddenly, but it's not a bad thing. Moby's still
making wonderful music, but I've started to feel the letting tracks be
on TV is getting silly. Porcellin, Everloving, Run On, Machette, Why
Does My Heart Feel So Bad, many more tracks are now on adverts or
trailers. So, this does worry me, and I don't know why, so I'll assume
it's 'cos I'm sad and liked being into something different to normal
people.

NO. He gave up his day off for the evening session (which was cool) and
just is doing stuff constantly. V2 are using him, they are a record
comapny, they use whichever artists will make them money, mute don't
seem to. The record industry needs to do this to be a bussiness, and
that's what it is. Yes, there is wonderful music out there by people
which doesn't get pushed. But when an artist will make a company make
money, they go for it. Don't forgett Moby was upset at how little support
for AR he got from ( was it elecktra?) This is the reverse, this must be
such a good change for him.Maybe he wants to be doing this much, so many
people wanting to hear the music he is making, must be a wonderful
feeling.=20
Moby is still the same person, makes wonerful music, is actually a good
person who doesn't regularly f*ck groupies, and with the populareity of
his albums many more people will read the stuff he writes. With this
much popularity, he is coming to a possition of realy power within the
public eye and will be able to bring things tp peoples attention, like
all the statistics in EIW, and so many many more things.

You must have heard Animal Rights by Moby. It's an amzing punk album
Moby did, really really good. My favorate album. A lot of people here
don't like it so much, but, sod them. Also, if you buy >=A310 of stuff
from Deff (e-mail given inside Play) there is a four track rock CD;
Animal Rights Live, has, er, SOMEONE TO LOVE, YOU , SAY IT'S ALL MINE,
AND FACE IT. I would just like to say Face it sounds amaxing if you get
it played in a rock club.

Hello
The confused argument about Moby's "selling out" (also
known as gaining recognition and awareness among a
wider audience and therefore fulfilling his artistic
purpouse, not abandoning it) sure clogged up mailboxes
yesterday, but what i want to know is :
Is the woman who carries the elderly Moby(is it?) in
her lap in the Natural Blues video Wednesday Adams
from the Addams family movies, also more recently in
Sleepy Hollow? She sure looks like her

I really like it, it's my favorite of the 3 on the Remixes CD. No, it
doesn't show the sorrow well, but it's not supposed to. I'm not big into
trance, so to a veteran it might sound generic, but to me it sounds exultant
and energized. Several of my vlubhead friends like it too, and they stop
complaining about my music when I've got that on.

Er.. clubhead. Also re: ATB, I bought 9pm and I think it's terrible.
So, does anybody care to offer predictions on what Moby will try next? I
wonder if he'll make another CD that's considered a new combination, like
the hybrid of blues and electronica on Play.
I'd like to see pop songs. South Side was ok, and it fit into the downtempo
pace of Play, but I'd like some upbeat, jumpier stuff. Maybe some techno-pop
high on sugar, like Feeling So Real meets No Doubt's Spiderwebs, or
something with a giddy happy feeling like that.

I'd love to see him do another ambient disc. He has said that "The
End Of Everything" is his favorite. However I think that whatever he
does next, the critics will hate it. They'll be expecting another
"Play", and I should certainly hope Moby will keep up the trend of
doing different stuff and not rehash what he's already done. But I
say heck with the critics, I'll like it whatever it is. :-)

The problem with ATB is that all there remixes sound the same... they use

The Cure's US label has decided to release no singles... only promo to radio.
Which for any Cure fan is weird. They usually have 3 singles in the US and
3 or 4 in the UK. The Cd is good... typical Cure... however, this is not a
classic. If you love the Cure, you will like this CD... there are no reach
out and grab you by the throat songs mellow or fast. It's just plain old
good Cure, a bit rough at the edges.. not as dreamy and soft depressing as
the big "D" album they are famous for. Check out their website for more info
and they may be releasing their fantastic b-sides and unreleased songs from
this recording session.

I don't understand all this stuff about Moby selling out. His personal
choices are his... The music he has created, in my opinion, speak for
itself... incredible, spiritual, uplifting, soothing, contemplative,
tragic... just amazing stuff. The growth from his beginnings to now are
nothing short of incredible. Thanks for sharing the music Moby!

Yes, the FTP site is only for rare and out of print items--ie I already
deleted an "Alone" track, one because it was huge and two because it was
commonly available(just by animal rights damn it).
Also, please look at the incomplete/unidentified file, I know that at least
2 tracks were interupted in upload, so please reupload them, thanks.
