I think the success of living a vegan lifestyle (for those who believe it
is a preferable existence), is in the trying. There will always be
inadvertent consumption of things related to animal exploitation, it's a
full time job keeping up with these things! People call you extreme and
point to contradictions to make your position seem futile. I think on one
level it feels like a form of absolutism, a form of truth, but for me, it's
really only trying my best, making mistakes and learning about the bizarre
animal products that are found in seemingly harmless items!
Adam, I think what I should have said is, instead, is that you can only do
your best, trying is better than not trying at all!

The Pork Guys is a Connecticut punk band in which Moby is the drummer. They
have a goofy video out, too, called "7-inch sellout." Also in the band are
Paul Yates and Tarquin Katis (I think that's his real name) as 'Sydney
Knasty'. There's 4 songs but we just recorded them as side a and side b, so
each file is two songs.

found are the following:
1) the store in question doesn't carry RS
2) the store still has the previous issue on the stands -- Militia Etheridge
3) the store has Macy Gray CD versions
I even have a friend in LA searching, and she's found only #3. Does
this CD really exist?

Why? The FTP site was put up for the BENEFIT of this list. An individual
was offering to SELL bootlegged copies of rare Moby tracks; some of us felt
that that being an extreme wrong went about offering them for FREE.
Ethically, in my opinion, this is fine--many of these tracks can't be found
anywhere anymore; some of them may take years of hunting to find (there are
some exceptions, like "alone" for instance, which I'm considering deleting),
in any case, neither moby nor his record company would see any royalties for
this stuff anyway, it's their fault they limited the prints or discontinued
them to begin with.

Anyone who is intending on attending any Richie
Hawtin concert on the current tour, you will not
get a Plastikman show. This is not the
minimalist stuff that psuedonym plays. For a
sample, check the Amp archives for what you'll be
hearing. Just don't get fooled into thinking
you'll get a Plastikman show.
I'm still wrestling with going. :)

LOL... Seriously Megs... for what program? I know moby.org has some winamp
skins, but it would be cool if some artisticaly talented person did a
realjukebox skin, a new desktop theme and/or a neoplanet skin... But that's
just idle thinking and I have no idea how one does these things.

The New Order song is a brand new track called "Brutal" and it was produced
by my man Rollo from Faithless! Rollo and Moby are neck and neck for my
favorite, I collect Faithless even more so than Moby as it's easier (and
cheaper) to get ahold of the rarer stuff. I thought they said there was
gonna be a Moby remix of a Blur track on this soundtrack but it turns out
William Orbit remixed it. Oh well, at least I get the new Faithless song I
wasn't expecting.
