is this part of the calvin klein campaign? that sounds like a ck-promo cd
i've seen on ebay:

...especially if it's the back cover (major ad space), and has different
artists on differnt copies (ck's got like 8 artists in that advert series,
could be 4 this month 4 next, or something like that...)
purely guessing off logic concepts...

I saw this CD on eBay yesterday. It was being advertised as the newest V2
promo, and had a V2 catalog number for promos, too. The seller also
mentioned that it's cover is a CK ad, so I'd say you're right on the money.

Subject: (mobility) RCDMute251 : Natural Blues Promo review (b sides included)
here comes our new single ! Just received the promo. No promo sleeve unlike=
=20
the other radio promos but it comes with the 2 b-sides. So let's see what's=
=20
inside :
NATURAL BLUES RADIO PROMO [13:30]
1. 3:02 Natural Blues (Single Version)
2. 6:08 The Whispering Wind
3. 4:20 Sick in The System
1. 3:02 Natural Blues (Single Version) :
Some of you already had this one with the V2 promo. Nothing to say except=20
that i prefer the album version because this one is really too short. But if=
=20
it's necessary in order to be played, well we'll take it (but put Play Cd if=
=20
we want to listen to Natural Blues)
2. 6:08 The Whispering Wind :
Coming up with the next RollingStone, this was is awesome. Already one of my=
=20
favorites b-sides along with Flying Foxes, The Rain Falls and The Sky=20
Shudders ... We'll see if it lasts but i really like it. Downtempo made of 4=
=20
notes repeated during all the song. Piano comes of course (at about 2:40).=20
But the major thing about this song is vocals. It's Moby meeting Air ! Yes,=
=20
Moby distorts its voice to sing "like the whispering wind ..." I think it's=20
Moby's voice because it has the same intonation. I really love this distorte=
d=20
voice sound "=E0 la Air", cool and calm, like on their track "Kelly watch th=
e=20
stars" (but whispering wind is much more slow) You'll enjoy it soon !
3. 4:20 Sick in The System :
Surely not as good as the Whispering wind but not as bad as Princess. No=20
vocals, quite fast, with pianos all over the place. A funky sound a bit like=
=20
the one on "No Buttons to push" (go to Bart's page not get a real audio)=20
during repeated the song. Song makes me think of Dark. Quite melancholic.=20
And weird.
As you can see i'm not an excellent reviewer (very pooor in fact) and=20
furthermore i don't know how to make mp3's or real audios so i think you'll=20
have to wait until you get them.
To sum up,
Get the RollingStone to have the Whispering wind :)
And by the way, if anyone know a place where we can see a picture of the=20
Natural Blues cover, please tell me in order to make a decent sleeve for thi=
s=20
nice promo.

need a caption for the board.. like one clever little line that refers to

etytm [pure joy mix], move [you make me feel so good],
and why can't it stop?...etc. so check it out if you haven't

Mob-iles,
Thanks for the heads-up, Megan. This is indeed a very big deal. This means that
Moby has been racking up some prety serious voting numbers, and now MTV is
taking notice. He is within shouting distance of the highly coveted spot. Can't
thank you enough, those who have voted. Keep it up...
Hate to rehash this ("Man, why you gotta bring up old s**t?"), but my irreverent
comments on the DVD issue were misunderstood by a few. Call it dry wit. Very
dry. Parched. The deal is that there will be a DVD someday. We don't know what
will be on it. We don't know when it will be out. Please, do not rush out to buy
a DVD player today - unless you were planning to anyway. In that case go ahead,
knock yourself out...
Pax,
Scott

Technomonk posted the link again today, which I think was the 3rd posting of
it on mobility. Here's the 4th:
http://www.popsmear.com/new/framework/features/14/moby/index.html
Doesn't anybody read their mail anymore?
The FTP is doing well! Bootleggers be damned!
A friend was telling me how Moby got a composer credit for Any Given Sunday,
and he said that the use of My Weakness was intense. And that the beginning
of the song abruptly switched and goes straight for the louder parts near
the end, adding a lot of impact. So there. -S
