Hey cool! Thanks for that. That's a great piece of vid. Where'd you get
it? Sweet to see Moby playing video games and then live shots of him
performing.
Quick question: is the "moby.sm.mpg" the same as the "moby.mpg" (just a
smaller viewing size) because i downloaded the "sm" one instead since the
other one would have taken *forever* for me to get.
Thanks.

I love record fairs!
Today I even got *3* things that are not in the Moby Discography yet!
And last week I got the EIW interview promo CD!
So for the few amongst you who are more interested in Moby than some
goth guy called Trent or something... here goes:
===================================
BRING BACK MY HAPPINESS radio promo [1995]
GE CD promo, Mute/Intercord, MUTE INT 893.136
NOTE: The Interactive Mix is an edited version of the one you
can find on the regular Dutch and German BBMH CD
1 3:35 Bring Back My Happiness (Extended Mix)
2 3:28 Bring Back My Happiness (Interactive Mix)
comments:
Nothing special.. I like the edit of the Interactive mix though,
it is very well suited for airplay.
====================================
I FEEL IT promo [1993]
UK 12", Equator, AAXX1
A1 6:00 I Feel It (Contentious Mix)
A2 7:00 I Feel It (Synthe Mix)
AA1 4:01 I Feel It (THK Tekk Mix)
AA2 5:55 I Feel It (I Feel It Mix)
AA3 4:26 Thousand
comments:
Very rare, I've never seen this one before.
=====================================
HYMN [1994]
GE 12", Intercord, INT 192.954
NOTE: The record comes in a plain white sleeve with center hole.
"Melodie Mix" is the same as the "Melodic Mix"
A1 4:43 Hymn (This Is My Dream - Extended Mix)
A2 6:01 Hymn (Lucky Orgasm)
B1 8:42 Hymn (Laurent's Wake Up)
B2 7:17 All That I Need Is To Be Loved (Melodie Mix)
comments:
Whooooopy! the record I'm most excited about! I have always
known there had to be a vinyl single with ATINITBL melodic on it!
In this track on EIW mixed/remixed you can clearly hear some
cracks of the vinyl, and since Moby did the mixes with only two
turntables, a mixer and some records... Now I'm not saying that
ALL tracks on EIW mixed are on a vinyl single, Anthem (Cinematic)
,When it's Cold... (instrumental) and EIW (Quiet version) are just
added to fill the CD, they are not part of the mix.
======================================
Ok guys, I'm off to go listen to some good Moby traxx now,
Take care and keep those records spinnin'!

too bad you have to go. we'll miss you!!!!!!
i love the "sway" bassline too. cool. thats a nice
ambient hip hop track, i'd like to see one of those
"downtempo" type djs use it on a mix cd. i'll probly
use that as background music on my radio show.
actually i think i'd like to use Nightmares On Wax
"Fire In The Middle" as my background track now. of
course im still not a radio dj yet and i probly wont
be for a while. oh well.
also, i listened to the Simpsons "Go Simpsonic" AND IT
RULES!!!!!!!!!! EVEN BETTER THAN SONGS IN THE KEY OF
SPRINGFIELD!!!!!! BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
also, i'm still impatiently awaiting the new SPIN to
come in.. damn, it usually doesnt get in this late in
the month. whats keeping them? has anyone seen the Jan
2000 issue on the stands yet? the sole reason i ask is
becuz I WANNA KNOW IF PLAY IS NUMBER ONE!!!!!! i kinda
think it is. i've seen/heard it be hailed "Album of
the year" on a few polls and radio shows. i think it
is number one too!
okay bye!!!!!!!

Hi Folks,
I went to the dallas show on friday! It was a great (albeit short) show.
I've seen moby and cake both three times now, but i honestly never figured i
would see them at the same show. If anyone is interested i'll post a setlist.
Off the top of my head though, the most interesting thing i remember....
Moby's guitar kept screwing up. Finally he got pissed and slammed it down onto
the stage floor breaking it in half. It was really cool!
He played teasers of a Jimi Hendrix song, "this is the end" by the doors, and
"whole lotta love" by zeppelin.
I recorded the show on minidisc. It turned out pretty damn good!

Dear Mobility friends....
You bet like hell i wanna make some mp3s of that show! It will be done as
soon as possible. As for posting them... thats a different story. If all goes as
planned though, i'm moving to orlando next month and should be getting a DSL
connection. If this DOES happen. I'm going to set up a little ftp server for
LIVE moby stuff. (At least until someone with authority tells me to take it down)
I'll post dallas along with the HBO Reverb files.
I've also got two more bootlegs coming to me in the mail.
I would love to set up a live electronic ftp site. I wonder if any of you would
be interested in trading other shows (aphex twin, orbital, orb, etc etc etc....)

I'm sure everybody's beat this topic to death by now...but...
I, too, was at the Dallas, show...and it was good (of course it was, it was
Moby) but I didn't have as much fun as I did at the Austin show this summer,
because of the venue/length of performance, etc....However, I did
inadvertantly get to do what many of us have longed to do...
that's right, I grabbed Moby's ass...
When he stagedived, I was front and center...reached up to pass him back,
and well, there it was...<grin>
I really enjoyed the banter, etc..but there was a lot of songs I wish he
would have played...
