hah!!! id love to grab mobys ass, right.. i touched
his guitar tho, thats almost as cool!
damn, ive been sucking like a leech when it comes to
corrupting my kid sibs. my younger sister is a damn
teenybopper. the others listen to whatever the parent
slisten to (old shit, country, showtunes) and i listen
to Stereolab and Aphex and Moby and Zappa and TMBG and
Sonic Youth and Squarepusher and ATCQ and none of them
know about any of that stuff. well actually my mom and
my other sis saw TMBG live too but still. of course,
im gonna have a radio show on WPKN soon, altho thatll
probly when i'm 20 and anyway itll be at like 2 am so
nobody will listen anyway (except you guys, over the
internet if possible ;)
speaking of WPKN, my pal Dave golden (who let me play
"Voodoo Child" last week) well he is a hardcore Zappa
phreak and his daughter Rebecca is like 2 or 3 and she
can recognize his picture ;) thats kinda cool.
damn, how can spin say NIN is album ov tha year. ick,
this is only my opinion but the Fragile is fricking
BORING. my god is it dull. i was kinda hoping hed go
all intelli-jungle on our asses, what with Autechre
and Squarepusher and Plaid and Bowling Green and MBM
on his label. oh well, some people never change.
and rage against the latrine, i still fail to see what
is so extraordinary about them. ooh, so they write
about leftist politics, and refuse to use anything but
guitars bass drums and vox in their songs. whatever.
to me, PLAY IS NUMBER ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ROCK!
oh well, at least Moby's getting sum positive hype.
SPIN two years ago wouldve said "we are NEVER saying
anything good about Moby again, DO YOU HEAR???" becuz
of that guitarock type thing. but who cares, they suck
anyway. damn, when is my issue comin in....
okay, noone cares but my mom wrote the Simpson family
newsletter 1999 and under the blurb about me she
writes that i have a quirly sense of humor (Python,
Marx Bros....no S&O she hasnt discovered them yet) as
well as in musical tastes (TMBG, Weird Al, no Zappa
she hasnt found out i like him yet) and i saw TMBG as
well as "current rock idol Moby" live in concert this
year ;) rock! great that she doesnt pigeonhole him as
techno, cuz like two years ago i was Mr.
nothing-But-Techno, whenever anyone even talked about
music in front of me, if someone asked what i liked,
half a second before i could even think someone always
said "PAWL LIKES TECK-NOE!" as if someone ASKED THEM
INSTEAD OF ME. jeesh. atleast thats over and theyre
realizing that my musical tastes are um DIVERSE.
also, in the Sifl and Olly tribute cd, Dr. Funk asked
me for my portion of the liner notes cuz i donated 2
trax, and i thank Matt and Liam of course for being
the geniuses they are, as well as my sisters for
helping me on one song, and then becuase i can (i have
75 words and im gonna use em all!) i thank MOBY, TMBG,
Michael Palin (from python), Amy from Futurama,
Stereolab, WPKN (and maybe someone else). great. if
you want a copy of the S&O tribute it costs a blank cd
or 60min tape and $4 postage, the change of which will
be reimbursed if not used, cuz its totally nonprofit.
there is an URL to a page about it but im lazy so
youll have to ask me for it.
okay tthat about does it.

Alright all you AOL users... Their having a thing to nomitate the best album
of 99 in their Music section (under the entertainment channel just in case
you've missed it) and WE HAVE TO MAKE SURE MOBY'S ON THERE. So vote away. A
lot... Use different SN's. We must win!!! Maybe then we can get a Moby
message board.. We so cannot let Brittney Spears or BSB win. (blink-182 is
okay).

dunno.. sounds pretty much the same as the u2 version that came out a few

Go to Entertainment Channel and then click on the music button and it should
take you there .... It's pretty big...
Another question (discrography and such) I also dowloaded an mp3 titled Moby
featuring Heather Nova ~ Straight to Hell.. And it's absolutely beautiful..
Where did this come from? Anyone know?

I liked Courtney Love better when she was in the Whore stage. I thought I was a
killer look and if I could commit to one look or at least a few, that one would
be up there. I love the bleach blonde/red lipstick/little k-mart girls dresses
look!
You got a hard-on? Woa. Courtney Love used to give me massive chick boners.
Just look at the pic of her in Live Through This where she's holding the Diet
Coke. Ra ra.

Well, a few of us here in list land have hugged MOBY and been kissied or
kissed back (cheeks only sadly...has anyone gotten a kiss on the lips? Wow, I
would die of jealousy!) So, we have ass grabbing, hugging and cheek kissing.
Next time (if there ever is one) I get a chance to babble incoherently at
MOBY, I'll try to get the courage up to ask for a grope or something. I
wanted to when I hugged him; I just wanted to say "Um, gee, this is kind of
odd but mind if I grope your bottom?" No, I don't think I could. I'm too
gentle womanly for that kind of behaviour, but I would show him my tits. :-)

did get to rub his head and i also held him up when he crowd surfed :) :) me
and a bunch of friends got to talk to him for awhile, of course we were all
not really talking, more like we love you so much blabh blah blah type
stuff, and he was amused by us i think hes really nice, and he drew his

The first (and only so far) time that I met Moby was after his set at the
Recher Theater in Towson on Thanksgiving night. I did not grope him,
however, I did rub his head and chatted with him a little. He also allowed
me to wear those huge black framed glasses (the pair he wore on "The List").
When I gave them back he also gave me a hug. What a nice man he is.
Peace, Shera
