Why don't we just protect *people*? Instead of trying to make thoughts and
emotions (like hate) illegal? It's not like we don't already have enough
laws to do just that. We just don't enforce them as we should.
I see a problem, though, in that some people refuse to consider some human
beings people because they're inconvenient... But I know a lot of you guys
probably don't want to think about that.

hmmm, the Times had half a page devoted to Moby, this is a huge
broadsheet paper, so that's a lot of words, it was interesting, I learnt
stuff. If you want I might tell you what was in it. But I didn't know
how much Madonna wants to work with Moby, maybe if I bothered to read
all the digests I would, but I think that it is cool
Are there any UK people out there?
Why did I just read a message asking where to get T-shirts from on the
digest. You get them from Def, you e-mail def on def2@globlenet..... I
can't be bothered to go to my room to find a CD with the full address
on. But that's where T-shoirts come from, does anybody bother to read
anything I write?

Yeah, it sucks. But we can't change these people. We can however debate w/
them which I love to do. I mean, yeah, we know how asinine they are but they
had to become that way somehow. You have to feel kinda sorry for them. Let's
just hope they're willing to read what we have to say and maybe that will give
them something to think about, if they can process it all.
Below are my thoughts and feelings. :-) Please don't kill me. :-)

Ok, what was this guy saying about someone being a christian? Is he trying to
say that christian's aren't supposed to accept gay ppl? So they should stand
up and say that they don't accept ppl who are gay? So, those "Christian's"
who believe that should stand up and declare their ignorance and
anti-christian views?
Yeah, and I'm sure there are a lot of KKK members who claim to be
"Christian's". Aren't "Christian's" supposed to "love thy neighbor"? Doesn't
love *usually* entail acceptance of the way others live even if their ways
differ from your own?
>
> >GOD CREATED ADAM AND EVE, NOT ADAM AND STEVE
You know, I used to know a guy who said that a lot. He was all macho and
bravado until he secretly confided in me that he dressed in drag and was very
turned on by it and he had had an affair w/ his girlfriends best friends
boyfriend. They had exchanged oral sex. Many men who say that are saying "I
have doubts about my own sexual orientation. I feel guilt so I'm transferring
my guilt onto you or anyone who's doing something I think I might want to do.
I hate what I am, I hate myself and I'm scared. I have a need to hate the
unknown because other ppl are happier w/ who they are than I am and I'm
jealous." Those ppl will probably lead very unhappy lives filled w/ hate that
will hurt themselves and their family more than it will hurt the person (more
self aware than the hater) they are hating. In other words, they're unhappy,
angry ppl who are jealous and unhappy and should really stop and think.
And ya know something, God created Adam, Eve, Steve, Billy, Marsha and Erica
and knowing full well humans will choose their own paths and love who they
want to. God created created Adam and Eve and they had children and so on and
God's only son died for *our* sins. Every person on this earth and everything
you see is a creation of God. Can you call yourself and "Christian" and then
openly challenge your creators judgment? Can you say that the perfect being
that created us all, made a mistake? Don't we strive to be Christ like and
love our fellow man, to help, to heal w/ our love and fellowship? The greater
evil is to give into temptation to break god's laws, to kill, to steal, to
commit adultery. No where does it say that being gay or being ethnic or being
anything other than White, Christian and Male is evil. Why not mind your own
p's and q's and leave others to mind they're own.
Join the "outrageous right" and thump your bible a little harder because I
don't think the real message is getting through.

Was the song Moby remixed for Micheal Jackson Beat it? I thought it was
something else. I was roaming the singles section at Tower and Newbury
yesterday and saw Michael Jackson and figured I would look to see if
there was a MOBY or RICHARD HALL written on any of them. Couldn't find
it. I think it is the import right? Anyone know which one and which
song? I know someone mentioned it before (Bart?). Anyway, Thanks. Later.

Moby is featured on the cover of this month's Paper magazine. There is a

for the future, and explanations for the upcoming Calvin Klein ad campaign.
Very tasty reading.

Moby remixed 2 Michael Jackson songs:
- - Who Is It (1992, various Moby mixes) I have 2 mixes of this:
listen to them at www.geocities.com/animal_sight/moby/sound.htm
- - Beat It (only one Moby mix) I saw this mix as a bonus track on some
CD single from Austria (Europe) on eBay, but I guess this single also
is a real collectors item for MJ fans, because it became really expensive
real quick... Never bought it, it always gets waaaay too expensive.
John Turpin wrote:

Yes, it is possible, but it still is strange that I have only *1* .mov video
with reasonable file size that can only barely be played fullscreen and
about 15 smaller Mpegs with far more quality... just my experiences...
>And as for the mess with the registry, I think we know whose fault that
is...
Actually, it's my, Microsoft's and Apple's fault!
- - My fault because I didn't back-up my old registry settings...
- - Microsoft's for making all programs share the same reg file instead
of one reg file per program (in that program's own directory)
- - Apple's for making you think you can completely uninstall it because
of the 'Install/uninstall Shield TM' program but actually leaving 4 files
in the Windows/System/ directory and a whole bunch of reg entries.
And now we're only talking about Quicktime version 3.?? that is supplied
on the WDMHFSB CDrom part, Quicktime 2.xx was even WORSE to
completely remove from a Windows computer... a complete nightmare!
I sure hope you Mac users are less frustrated this great Moby video :)
Why am I worrying about a stupid thing as the file format of a Moby
video when outside some hunters are killing animals for fun anyway?
(It's the middle of the hunting season) Next time I see them I'll do

Tomorrow they're going to show 'The Shining' on tv, sweet!

WDMHFSB is after Honey Moby's first single to enter the Dutch charts.
Which in itself says nothing because the Dutch main chart consists of
the 100 (not 40...) best selling singles and Moby came in on 92...
Run On and Bodyrock didn't even make it to that selection of 100 singles!

Beautiful words, Kimbalina. I couldn't have said it much better myself.
Except to say, as someone who is gay and also loves Christ very much, and --
ideally -- lives to serve God and my fellow humans, I believe I didn't
choose to be this way, God did it, and he knew what he was doing when he did
it, It's a good thiing, and I praise him for it. God reveals himself
differently to different people. To Elijah he came in the chariot of fire.
To another prophet he, was "a wheel within a wheel."
Fundamentalism is about power, not spirituality. God will not be kept in the
boxes of our minds. The only thing I know for sure is God is true, Jesus is
his Son (the earthly revelation of himself to us humans), and his salvation
is sure.
Anyway to make this Moby related. I just got the singles for "Why Does My
Heart Feel So Bad?" in the mail today from http://www.Action-Records.Co.UK
(The only people I will buy imports from forever more, if I can help it --
they're dirt cheap and lightening fast, a great combination). The Ferry
Corsten remix is amazing. I literally teared up when I heard it the first
time. He so captures the essence of the song. Mournful, lamenting to God,
"WHY does my heart feel so BAD?" Then the angel speaks, leading to "these
open doors." Finally, the question is repeated, "why DOES my heart feel so
bad?" and this time it's rejoicing, it's found redemption. Few artists can
do so much with just two lines in a song. But Moby has done it. This song is
so alive. Being so minimalist, it's an odd choice for a single. But if just
a few people can catch that joy, that catharsis, I think it will pay off. Of
course for us fans, it already has -- in the form of the two bsides, three
remixes and cd-rom video. Hopefully, it will make more people fans as well.
The video I have to say, is also quite charming. A little sad, but
ultimately hopeful. And I love seeing Moby's charicatures animated like
that. Go Devil Dog!
