yea, it's a bit harder to find the european version i think. it has that
extra track "animal sight" at the end, which is not on the american
version, right? also, did moby sample The Orb for that synthy thing that
goes throughout the song....i SWEAR i heard that exact same sound on one
of the songs from the Ultraworld cd....

Hi folks,
I really hate to do this... but i'm desperate. I have to find a pair of
light glasses for a project i'm working on. If any of you have seen the
movie "blade" the DJ in the rave scene is wearing these glasses. Its
basically a pair of non-prescription glasses with flashlights mounted on
either side. I know that a lot of you are Orbital fans. Orbital wore them
during the tour this year. I really need to get some quickly so if anyone
knows a DJ supply place where i can buy them..... I've seen them for sale
before but naturally, i cant find them now.
I've checked pro sound and music factory.... nobody seems to carry them
anymore.....
any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you!

I want those Run On mixes on Intercord ! They seem to be really good and i
was told that some are in the same spirit than WHDMHFSB good mixes that is
clubtrance stuff. I've seen that cd banzai (based in La I guess) sell those
mixes (at about $13 but $7 for shipping to Europe. That's a pity knowing
that there from Germany) but there are many catalogue numbers and no track
listing. Did someone buy it so that he could give us the catalogue number ?
Thanks in advance.
Furthermore I saw on some online store 2 tracks singles from Honey, Run On
and Bodyrock imported from Holland. Anyone has these ? Promo or real singles ?
That's enough for now I guess
Have fun

Hi to everybody !
It's been a long time since my last mail (under the web adress
Matthino@aol.com) because as many others I have to work, pass exams ...
I have to say that I'm glad that this list is again a Moby list and not a NMR
or other things (Why not these guys don't create a non Moby mailing list ?)
Bart has done last week or so a review of WDMHFSB mixes. I like those kind of
reviews but I have to say that I don't agree with him on the ATB mix which I
think is not bad at all (come of course after the Corsten one but before the
Subsonic Legacy). The thing is, the samples are done for the original and
don't go very well on more faster stuff but nowadays a remix without original
samples is not a remix.
Also I have to say, Why does the Sharp Roadster Club mix is so bad ? It
really sucks. I nearly regret to have bought the vinyl having the CD.
Moby ''on the 6'' (of November) in Lille! I am going to see Moby ! That
(body)rocks!

Just in case anyone is interested in knowing, Moby also did the mixing for a
band called Psychotica on one track of their self-titled cd. He did only the
track called Cybernation, which in my, admittedly biased opinion (being a
Psychotica fan), is an extremely good song.

That is why a number of the cds out of the UK come in parts one and two.
Underworld has done a number of those, as have bands like the Sneaker Pimps
and Garbage. That is the only way that they can get around the stupid rules,
which screw us, and force us to buy two separate cds that cost a lot of money.

to enter into the UK charts a single may have more than three tracks.
Spaceman by Babylon zoo had a minimum of four tracks and got to number
one. But there is a time limit on stuff. It's still better to release
EPs, so what if they don't entert the official chart. Anyway, sorry, did
people not notice what I said, Moby got to number 16 in the official
chart, that's a sales only chart, that's shitloads of CDs sold ;) UK

Plus this new chart rule has had the biggest effect on remixes. Gone are
the days of epic long remixes being included. I am a collector of Faithless
also and almost all of their UK singles are loaded with damned remix
"Edits" to fit the whole single under the 20 minute rule so you still have
to go and buy other European imports to get the full length remixes. I use
Faithless as an example but I know this happens with a lot of other bands
and these stupid remix "Edits". Damn the idiots responsible for these UK
chart rules.
