feel like being on a louisiana bayou. sooo coool.
everyone please, moderate your alcohol drinking. my beau is an alcoholic and
its like watching him on a high wire. i love him very dearly, and it pains me
to be with him when there's lots of booze around. please, self-control?

yo mobites,
i was one of the few lucky radio people who got both L12mute230 and
12mute230, the new moby singles! the subsonic mix (L12mute230) is pretty
good as well as the clubby ATB mix (12mute230), buy my favorite by far is
the ferry corsten mix! if you've heard his binary finary mix of 1999,
you've heard this mix. I LOVE IT!!! it's possibly the best moby remix
ever (not done by moby himself that is...) it's a total reworking of the
song, but still uses alot of the original music and feel. totally
banging progressive house!!!!! (i love moby on a cloud!)
here it tonight on my show at www.kumd.org from 9pm to 11pm central. i'll
probably play it after 10.

Yes they do make your lungs bleed. If you need to smoke
just smoke a regular cigarette.

The deal with cloves making your lungs bleed is that cloves are a mild
anesthetic, so people tend to be able to pull a LOT more smoke into their
lungs from cloves, and don't tend to notice any warning signs. They don't
inherently make your lungs bleed...but if you smoke a whole lot, you might
not notice until the next day if you fucked your lungs up...

Yeah Chuck Horn should get his own station with a nightly show by the
Electrifying Mojo. Talk about a guy who was giving Detroit techno it's
rightful respect and AIRPLAY back in the day. You know radio is sad in
Detroit when there's not a spot for Mojo on the airwaves. Why? Because he
has a brain and doesn't pander to playlists. He is a GENIUS and legend in
radio. I have a feeling if he was still on the air he would dig "Play".
Sorry to veer off topic to the rest on the list but the shit state of radio
really is a subject that burns me up.

Oh yeah??? and what about:
- - the UK Into the Blue single => 5 tracks (37:55)
- - UK Into the Blue remixes => 6 tracks (39:52)
- - UK James Bond Theme => 6 tracks (35:58)
- - or perhaps the UK Demons/Horses single => 2 tracks (41:26)
But you are right about the fact that US releases
usually have more playing time than UK singles,
but because of some law??? neh.

I have the 2nd promo 12" (PL12Mute230) and it also has the Subsonic
Legacy remix on it, but a different version than on the CD!!!! the version
I have is 8:31 minutes long, it's almost the same, but the slow instrumental
intro is just 2 minutes longer than the version on the remix CD, the version
on the promo is much better IMO... Does L12Mute230 also have the looong
version? and what are the other tracks on the L12"?

I think what you're referring to is not law, but the rules for chart
placement for singles. In order for a release to be considered a single, it
can have no more than three tracks. You can of course release a five-track
single, but it won't be considered for the charts. That's why a lot of
artists release a three-song single for chart consideration, and a longer
version of the same single for collectors...

hmmmm, now which musical style should Moby do next?
well, we did say something about like poetry/spoken
word, didnt we once, when Clay was on the list,
forever ago? shit i havent e'd him in a while....
a whole album of "The Sky Is Broken".....nevermind i'd
get sick of that easily, ya know?
anyway what about the polka speed acid trance metal
kor????
we were talking over at SOCKHEADS about havin a party
at liam's mom house, and we were all claiming
instruments for tha big jam.... i got the turntables,
or my sampler, or if we have one this huge synth that
morphs sounds as we play em yeah!!!!!!! and someoe
says "we're gonna rock the party that rocks the body"
which we are gonna do.
heh we should all just get together and JAMMMMMM one
day right! that would kick ass!
oh yeah! i heard DJ Skribble play the Olav Basoski mix
of Bodyrock on Global Groove! and they played part of
the Phizzo version of the video! yay!!!!!!!!
they also played Freestylers "Dont Stop"! thats kress!
that show is mad evil tho. even Moby say its stupid,
in some SPIN a few months ago. Skribble doesnt even DJ
the songs during the show, he prerecords the trax onto
something and just kinda mock-scratches during the
show. on his mix cds tho, he plays slightly more
underground choons, so he's a little misrepresented on
MTV. of course the scary thing is, he's the most
wellknown DJ among all these teenybopper kids. yes,
its a fact, i've heard kids refer to DJ Skribble when
someone mentions DJs. EEEEK!
ok, i guess im gone!

THIS PETITION.
*IF YOU AREN'T SIGNING, PLEASE FORWARD THIS TO
AllRunique@aol.com. IF
YOU
DON'T FORWARD IT, THE NAMES SIGNED MAY NOT
COUNT.*
As you have all probably heard about in detail, a
tragic event happened
nearly a year ago, on October 6 1998, outside
Laramie, Wyoming.
Matthew Shepard, a 21-year-old University of
Wyoming student, was
tortured,
beaten, and left tied to a pole in the freezing
cold.┬ Six days later,
he
died of his wounds in Poudre Valley Hospital,
Fort Collins, Colorado.
Matthew was murdered because he was gay and
because he was a prominent
and
charismatic member of the gay and lesbian student
group on campus.
Right now Wyoming and Colorado have no anti-hate
crime laws; the state
legislature in Wyoming has voted down anti-bias
bills for each of the
past
three years. There is an effort in Wyoming and
Colorado to enact Matthew
Shepard Laws, which would strongly punish the
perpetrators of hate
crimes.
This petition demands the broadening of federal
anti-hate crime law.
Opening Statement: "We state strongly that
violence on the basis of
sexual orientation, race or gender is wrong, is
evil, is
reprehensible."
John Buehren, President of The Unitarian
Universalist speaks for
Unitarian Universalists, but his words are
reflected in the hearts of
people everywhere who believe we must speak out,
take action against,
and
condemn hate crimes in all their ugly forms.
A resolution follows:
WHEREAS: We affirm and promote the inherent worth
and dignity of every
person.
WHEREAS: We commend the efforts of those
individuals who dedicate their
lives to causes of life, liberty and pursuit of
happiness.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That we hereby urge the
passage of The Hate
Crimes Prevention Act (HCPA), H.R.3081 and
S.1529. The Hate Crimes
Prevention Act (HCPA), H.R.3081 and S.1529, would
amend current federal
law
(which permits federal prosecution of a hate
crime only if the crime was
motivated by bias based on religion, national
origin, or color) to
include
real or perceived sexual orientation, gender, and
disability so the FBI
would be able to investigate and prosecute
violent hate crimes against
gays, lesbians, and bisexuals. Under this bill,
hate crimes that cause
death or bodily injury because of prejudice can
be investigated
federally,
regardless of whether the victim was exercising a
federally protected
right. The only way that our representatives can
be aware of the base of
support or this change to the current law is by
making our voices heard.
Please add your name to this petition and forward
it, so that it can
then
be forwarded to the President of The United
States;
the Vice President of the United States; and our
United States Senators
and
House Members.
Petition Management:
