Well Honestly, we've all had the same problem.
Greg is really busy.
The last thing I heard from him, a week or two ago, was that
he needed to transfer all the tape submissions to computer.
It's in a very slow process but I think it's moving.
Though I just finished my 3rd remix, and I havent received a reply from
him if he's downloaded it yet. Greg? You out there?
Who knows by the time this thing gets finished, I'll have a whole albums
worth of remixes!!! :)

PS. trust me i've wanted this to be released since the first release date,
so if anything happens, I'll try my best to make sure it still gets done,
regardless
of who does it.

Acceptance is a standard for
objectivity/subjectivity, however. I could hold
the secret of life, brought about in an objective
manner to myself, but if no one believes (and
they haven't yet! ;) ), it's not "truth", nor
does anyone accept it from an "objective"
viewpoint.

Wouldn't any complex idea, by it's very nature,
involve all sorts of interpretation? We could
never truly know what the author is thinking even
with words. We do get a better picture, however.
MUCH better than without lyrics or words.

That's odd, I didn't realize that were these
conflicting misconceptions came from. To me,
they would have come from the words in the
inlays. I don't know how anyone can draw from
music alone they could draw these ideas. Anyone
else want to comment (who have read this far) as
to how these inferences are drawn? Moreover,
using solely instrumental forms, while nice to
listen to, do not work. So...

str8 from the new SPIN:
"I find it daunting just walking into a record store
and looking at tons of racks. Now multiply that by a
million-that's the amount of music available on MP3.
To some extent, I appreciate the role of record
companies because they sift through thousands and
thousands of demos and pick the one or two things they
think are wonderful. But one thing I find almost
criminal is record companies wanting to charge as much
for downloads as a CD in a record store. That's the
equivalent of Marie Antionette saying 'Let them eat
cake.'" -Moby, page 160 SPIN November (with TORI on
the cover! thank god an actual real artist!)
And, because I can:
"People from the record industry talk about putting
some sort of code on MP#s that wouldn't let people
duplicate them, and that seems as appropriate as
running into the middle of a rave and telling people
to turn the music down. The free exchange is part of
the culture"-John Flansburgh, TMBG
(ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Wow, John F talking about raves! I absolutely agree
with what he's saying. TMBG just released a cd only
available on MP3s on emusic.com btw.
oh yeah, theres a neat photo of Moby here (but not
John) and Mobys like un front of a blue room, like...
maybe its a rave r sumthin. whuteva also they review

I love it how some of you guys out there use these large words that the
slightly slower uneducated people (like Myself) don't understand or just
can't be bothered to read.
Laymens terms if you will?
When I talk about Moby, it always comes from the heart, and mostly there
are NO words that can describe the way I feel.
None of us no what Moby is thinking, in today's society isn't it important
to get your own beliefs and values in order before you take into
consideration what other people are thinking. It is good to understand the
world but you have to find yourself first.
As for the Moby songs on these commercials, haven't seen any in NZ, but I
would think it is great news. Moby is never gonna get like the Spice Girls
so stop ya whining. The music of his on ads is great exposure and it will
have a positive affect.
But, Was it WDMHFSB on Buffy or something, and Porcelain on Baileys,
Well, these two songs are very emotional and when people hear them it will
belittle them a bit, in fact probably a lot. People will now think of
Baileys when they hear that song, I'm glad I heard the Song before that ad.
As for drinking, I'm Sorry but I must Say, Drinking is Good
Once a week is plenty for me, but I love getting Fucked Up.
The friends, company of the opposite sex, the rugby (or Football), the
music, the drinking Games, and then the eventual Spew, I luv it all.
The last legal Drug. Bless It before It gets taken away.
Issues and Flames
The issues range from potent to trivial, but everyone of them is important
to each other, so go with the flow, be happy, and remember to have a drink
in the Weekend. Put on ya Beer Goggles and Shag Someone. Just try not to
make a noise when you do a runner the next morning. Confrontation is allll
Bad.
