What makes you think that? Is there a thread that I missed? I dunno, I
went back and read one of the emails from that adress, Blake's adress
and the email was pretty not MOBY like. Why would he email the list and
completely write an email from a difference persona?(RE: I know you
might all still caste judgment on me but.........
I live on ft myers beach fl, and moby is coming here Sept 14th. I have
been
a fan ever since his club days at the palladium (n.y.) where they shot
club
mtv...and the like.) I don't think it is him and if it is, he obviously
doesn't want any one to bug him. I hope no one has sent mail to the
about adress because they think it's MOBY's. I doubt that is is but
again, if it is, don't bother the poor guy.

Subject: (mobility) Bodyrock and the Closet
All I have to say is that Veronica's closet is one of the worst shows out
and it really sux that Moby's beautiful tunes can now be identified with
it. It is going to be harder for new fans to really get into the musik as
much as we do. People who hear Bodyrock are going to think of Veronica's
Closet where as we would think of his awesome melodies. They won't
associate Moby with Bodyrock. I know I'm paranoid but it is a huge
pleasure for me to introduce people to his musik and I love the way that he
changes their lives like he has mine. I want to share the feeling I spose.
But the Black guy, Darryl something (Mitchell?), FUCK he is Funny. I use
to love the John Larroquette show just because of him.
Every cloud has a silver lining, maybe, probably not.

Joe, thats hella true. But, another thing I'm worried about is if someone
that has never hurd Mobys beautiful music before and goes and buys the album
for that one song, and lisins to the whole thing, I'm shure they would have
been expecting hip-hop or some shit. Then the would wave the cd in front of
their friends faces going "Damn! Moby blows!" ......... That truly frightens
me.......

In the U.S., did he sing 'Natural Blues' during his tour? as he sang this in
London as main vocal over the female voice.

Can you imagine how envious i am, when i read your experiences with moby,
his performances, or even hugs & kisses ?
gee.. hopefully, someday i will have the same luck as you and one day we
will all spent some time sharing our view and memories.
btw. will please somebody let moby know, that there are some poor students
here who don't have neither time nor money to check out all his new singles
and therefore he could postpone the release of Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad
until, let's say february 2003 ? i just bought run on extended and i again
have no resources to buy at least bodyrock ! :-)
but i like the idea, that moby plans to release a compilation of his Bsides.
is that really going to happen ? got some new informations ?

Hello all. My name is Robyn Shepherd, and I'm an 18-year-old NYU student.
I'll confess up front that I am a very new Moby fan, and don't claim to
possess a whole heckuva lot of knowledge beyond what is easily found on the
web, but I hope to know much, much more. I first saw and heard Moby at a
taping of the Conan O'Brien show in July and my interest was piqued enough to
attend an all-NYU concert at Irving Plaza earlier this month--let's say that
I was completely charmed, smitten, and otherwise knocked for a loop. The
more I learned about him and the more I heard him the more I liked it, so I
inevitably signed up to this list. I probably won't be saying much as I
continue to educate myself, but I just wanted to say hello. And could you
tell me the best place to see Moby videos? Continuous watching of MTV2 has
only yielded one Bodyrock video.

Ebay has been the place to be for me, actually.
I've picked up some really cheap stuff off there
from his earlier days. Also, try...

import stuff at semi-reasonable prices.
