Paul,
Ever heard of supply & demand? You (and all other S&O fans) demand the
CD at any cost so they are providing it to you (at a high cost). They
know you (or others anyway) will pay the extra cash regardless. I feel
for you man. I really do. I think it stinks, but that's the way the
cookie crumbles.
Example: Moby puts out new CD. CD costs $25.00!! Jayson goes and buys
the frickin thing because he loves Moby and doesn't care about the
cost.
You see? They could screw me too!

They all think that $18.50 is a good, acceptable cost
for a CD. They claim that it is rare and will never be
in stores, which makes the cost okay. I still say that
$18.50 is a LOT of money, period.
SOMEBODY here believes me right? I mean, this CD is
rare and limited edition, wont be in stores ever, yada
yada fucking yada. But i cant afford that much. Hell,
when we did the THANKS cd, how much did that cost? 10
bucks? And how much did RYU charge for his cds? 5, 7
bucks? These are cheap prices for cds, period.
But this cd which is out for the S&O fans, it is at
least 5 bucks more than I would ever pay for a full
length, domestic cd. And its not on a label, not with
distribution, or anything. And they think this is a
good cost?
DOESNT ANYONE AGREE WITH ME??????????

Guess what? I was at HMV on Sat. and low-and-behold I see the Messiah
CD! AND it's only 12.99! Whooo-hooo! So I bought it. I'll tell ya, it
is really good! A lot better than I expected!
The best thing about HMV is that you can return ANY CD within 45 days
whether you open it or not. How awesome is that?! This way I can take
a chance with a CD I would not normally buy and buy it anyway!
Whooo-hooo!
EVERYTHING IS REMIXED: MAN! I looked all over Boston for this frickin
CD and they don't sell it anymore! You were right! I can't believe it.
I wonder why they would take it off the market? It's a great CD (as
everyone knows). HOWEVER, I did see PLENTY of them on the internet so
it's not like you're SOL (don't mistake that with S&O! hee-hee). I can
get you web sites for the CD if you want.

I really don't give a flip about Sifl, Olly, or the price of their CD.
Isn't there a Sifl and Olly list somewhere where the question is on-topic?

I dont care about cd pricing stuff, but the sock thing is annoying.

I found the issue of Future Music with the Moby track
on the cd. its' "Natural Blues".
I also found the 50th issue of MUZIK, with a cd of
"Club Classics" I bought that. Theres some cool shit
on the cd. Havent listened to it yet, cant wait to!
So far, I havent seen any mention of MOBY tho. Except
for a mention in some ad for some dance music
warehouse, that they had his music in stop.
Okay, heres the problem. Matt Crocco and Liam Lynch

Yeah, It's been a bitch to get and I even manage a record store so I
thought that I could try to get a copy. I'm going to try to get the cd from
mute records itself. I'm not sure who their distributor is. It may be BMG

I am going to Toronto next week so I will search all the used stores and any
record store for the copy. But I would like a list of the web pages.

yo people of the moby universe!
just thought i'd let you know that our 100,000 watt radio station, KUMD
in duluth, minnesota, is now on the web! go to:
www.kumd.org
it's just that simple!
i do a weekly show from 9pm to 11pm (central) and play ALOT of moby every
week, as well as BT, aphex twin, paul vanDyk, faithless, ATR, happy
hardcore, drum n bass, you name it i play it! there is also a show thursday
night done by dj neko that you should check out. we also feature all kinds
of indie rock, punk, industrial you name it. and you can call us for free too!
1-800-566-5863. i would absolutly LOVE to hear from each and every one of
you!
again, 9pm to 11pm EVERY TUESDAY! the show is called the shack of xaq
(that's zac). every monday through thursday from 9pm to 3am is college
programming by college students here at UMD.
also, we will soon be broadcasting the ministry of sound radio show,
direct from the huge club in the UK! if you like to dance, you will
absolutly LOVE this show.
one warning!!!! the system crashes every once and a while. i'm VERY
sorry if this happens, but i have nothing to do with it and it will be
fixed soon.
so please listen and tell my how everything works out!
ps. i designed the now very out of date RPM page. the top 10 eletronic list
is the only thing still relevent, but the page looks pretty neat, i
think. at least not bad for my first ever try at making a page....oh, and
my girlfriend steph did a lot of the actual construction too.
hope to hear from you tomorrow! (tuesday)

I can't remember how this thread started, but if you are referring to the
2cd Everything is Wrong Remix CD, last week I saw 1 copy at Tower Records in
the Northridge part of LA and 3 copies at the Tower on Sunset in Hollywood.
It was priced at $22-24. This was the first time I have actually seen
copies. It wasn't there 2-3 weeks ago. Maybe it was special ordered due to
the Play release, or...
I did not note the label, but will check on my way home.

yeah, the tower that i frequent in dublin,CA has some
as well. 3 or 4. and they where around that price i
beleive. maybe tower got the hook up somehow. they
don't keep that much back stock themselves(atleast
they didn't when i worked there). so they must have
gotten them from a distributor. good luck though to
whoever it was that's looking for it. it rocks!
